(Correspondent Jia Pan Shi Zhenhui) On the morning of June 25, the final and award ceremony of the "Book Talking Centennial Road And Sailing a New Journey" Red Story Storyteller Contest was held in the Yangtze River Lecture Hall on the first floor of Hubei Provincial Library.
On the field, the players recalled the history of the revolution and inherited the red spirit by telling the red books that have been baptized by time, and in the dialogue beyond time and space, the books talked about the eternal charm of red classics. Shi Hui, a player recommended by the Huayuan County Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Huayuan County Library, brought the story of the eighteen-hole poverty alleviation from the depths of Miao Mountain to the final stage, and won the title of "Top Ten Storytellers" with the excellent results of the first place in the Hunan Division and the fourth place in the final.
The Huayuan County Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Huayuan County Library won the "Excellent Organization Award".
The event was sponsored by Hubei Provincial Library and Hunan Provincial Library under the guidance of the Propaganda Department of Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Hubei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. The event was officially launched at Hubei Library on April 23. The purpose of the competition is to relive the history of red through reading and lecturing, carry forward the revolutionary spirit, attract and drive more people to understand the history of red, and open the cultural treasure house of the red spirit for the majority of readers. The competition lasted more than two months, more than 5,000 players from more than 20 provinces and cities across the country registered, submitted a total of 3329 video works, and finally determined that 22 players entered the offline finals through strict preliminary selection before and after the re-selection. Huayuan County organized a total of 86 contestants to participate, and the number of participants ranked first in the province.
