We have introduced a number of varieties from Japan and other provinces for trial demonstration. ”
Since 2018, Pingquan Edible Mushroom Development Center, Edible Mushroom Industry Association, Xicai Applied Mushroom Company and other departments and enterprises have continued to conduct scientific research in the introduction of new varieties of slippery mushrooms and cultivation modes, repeated screening, testing and demonstration, which lasted more than three years and finally achieved gratifying results.
Wang Huisen, deputy director of the Pingquan Edible Mushroom Industry Development Center and researcher of agricultural technology promotion, said: "The main characteristics of the new strain of slippery mushrooms are that the mushroom type is round, the color is tender and yellow, the mushroom handle is thin and short, and the fruiting body is suitable for fresh sales, salting, drying, canning and other processing forms. At the same time, the strain has a good yield, through on-site calculations, a single bag of 16×60cm of mushrooms, basically out of 2×3cm of fresh mushrooms on average reached 1 kg to 1.5 kg, out of the umbrella mushroom wool goods the highest single bag can reach 2.5 kg, with good economic performance, broad market development prospects, huge potential. ”
The successful cultivation experiment of this variety of slippery mushroom has a strong role in promoting the development of slippery mushroom in Hirazumi City, and has filled the shortcomings of the cultivation of slippery mushroom in the city in recent years.
"Hiraizumi shiitake mushroom production adopts a two-field system, using the free period of the shiitake mushroom fungus shed to cultivate slippery mushrooms, which can increase the production capacity of Hirazumi by 20%-30% on the basis of the existing edible mushroom production, and realize the new cultivation mode of the mushroom shed without idleness throughout the year."
