I thought to myself that Ye Bei and I felt a bit at first sight. The first time we met, it was like two time capsules that suddenly opened the conversation box, crackling and talking non-stop. She said hers, I said mine, and we were both pretty much released before we started getting into the interview.
Ye Bei's new song is very good, and she is particularly consistent with her own emotions, a little mindless happiness, but also a little sad. She listens to a lot of Nordic folk songs, and she says she likes clean sounds, but I think she prefers the silent sadness of the music.
Share a story of Ye Bei.
In the early 1990s, when Ye Bei went to the China Conservatory of Music, she sewed a singer recruitment advertisement in the Beijing Evening News and went there.
After a series of dance hall work, a new night show appeared in Beijing. Nightman, JJ, Oriental One, and NASA were the most fashionable consumption venues of the year, with huge screens, projections, British DJ, a thousand-person dance floor, a rising and falling stage, and noisy crowds, forming a completely different entertainment atmosphere from Beijing in the 90s outside the venue. Every night, Ye Bei sang there, singing the music of Meng Tingwei, Teresa Teng, and Wang Jingwen, and at that time she didn't think the nightclub was very social, she didn't pay attention to those people, and she couldn't see the drunk people, even though she already had a big brother (mobile phone) and a full-time driver.
Many people used to be resident singers of those nights, and Zhou Xun, Hu Dong, etc. often sang in the Letterman Bar near the Xiba River. One night in 1995, Gao Xiaosong and Xie Dong and Zheng Jun appeared in the "Lark", he heard Ye Bei's singing, felt a little surprised, and soon the music director of the venue found Ye Bei and said that Gao Xiaosong wanted to know you, Ye Bei asked him who Gao Xiaosong was, and the director replied that it was the person who wrote "You at the Same Table".
After that, everyone knows. Listen to the song.
(Note, this episode was recorded last year, longer, due to the limited upload space, only excerpted the first half of the hour, the rest of the part, back and waiting with Luo Dayou did not finish the episode to find a place to say Ha)
