As lionfish get closer and closer to their prey and are ready to swallow it in one gulp, their pectoral fins stand up and begin to shake rapidly. This move is to attract the attention of the prey, but also to make the lionfish's attention more focused on its prey.
When the prey cowered in the corner, confused by everything in front of it, the lionfish suddenly retracted all its fins, and as fast as possible, swallowed the prey in the blink of an eye. It has more than 30 species of fish on its menu, and you can eat a single fish in half an hour.

Lionfish have a more reclusive personality and prefer to live alone, but they occasionally cooperate in hunting. Because there is a law in nature, the more vivid the body color of the animal, the more likely it is that it is not easy to mess with. If it encounters the same bold fish, the lionfish will use all its strength to constantly stretch and contract the fins of the whole body, one will unfold, one will retract.
Even if it does fall into the mouth of a predator, the opponent will be difficult to swallow because of the fins of the lionfish's whole body, and when it is spit out, it will be stabbed by poisonous spines, resulting in poisoning.
