Hu Ming said that due to the epidemic situation, Mauritius did not organize enterprises to participate in the fourth CIIE offline, but Mauritius was led by the Economic Development Bureau to participate in the online national exhibition, and Mauritius was also one of the earliest African countries to enter the online national exhibition. Hu Ming said: "The Mauritius online national exhibition hall vividly displays its characteristic export products in the form of text, pictures and videos. These products include jewelry, processed foods, fruit-containing products, textiles, tea, rum, specialty sugars and other categories. Hu Ming said that this year is the first year that the Free Trade Agreement between China and Mauritius has officially entered into force, and this agreement is also the first free trade agreement signed between China and African countries, and the dividends of bilateral free trade agreements have initially emerged. Hu Ming said: "Taking physical trade as an example, according to Mao's statistics, from January to June this year, the bilateral trade volume between China and Mauritius was 359 million US dollars, an increase of 29% year-on-year, of which I exported 343 million US dollars to Mao, an increase of 28% year-on-year; Mao exported 0.17 billion US dollars to Me, an increase of 51% year-on-year." The growth rate of bilateral trade is significantly higher than the growth rate of Gross foreign trade. At present, China is Mao's largest trading partner and largest importer. With the further deepening of the FTA, it is believed that China is also a major exporter of Mao. Taking high-quality sugar as an example, under the free trade agreement, Mao will export 15,000 tons of high-quality sugar to China this year, and at present, the Mao side is actively arranging shipping schedules, and will increase 5,000 tons on the existing basis year by year. By the eighth year, Mao will export 50,000 tons of high-quality sugar to China. It can be seen that only sugar is a product, and the value of Gross Exports to China will increase significantly year by year. ”

In order to help me resume work and production in Mao enterprises, the Mauritian Ministry of Labour twice arranged for Chinese engineers to return to Mauritius to work on charter flights transporting vaccines from The Mauritian side. In addition, the two countries have also had substantial cooperation in the financial field, and the RMB clearing business in Mao is expected to be realized by the end of the year.
