Wang Shouren (王守仁) (31 October 1472 – 9 January 1529), of Han chinese, courtesy name Yun, was also known as Yang Ming (阳明). A native of Yuyao County, Shaoxing Province, Zhejiang (now part of Yuyao, Ningbo), because he once built a room in Yangmingdong, Huiji Mountain, called himself Yang Mingzi, scholars called him Mr. Yang Ming, also known as Wang Yangming. A famous thinker, writer, philosopher and military figure of the Ming Dynasty, Lu Wangxin was a master of Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism.
Wang Yangming's folklore in Jiangxi, rich in content, has been circulated for a long time, has been recorded in many archival documents, the storyline, popular population, fascinating, widely spread folk, generations from generation to generation. Its main stories include: the anecdote of Wang Yangming's disappearance on the wedding night in Nanchang, the story of Wang Yangming's worship of Rao Theorist Lou Yu as a teacher, and so on. At present, it is circulated in Nanchang, Ganzhou, Ji'an, Dayu and other regions in Jiangxi.
Wang Yangming was a great Confucian, he had studied Buddhism and Confucianism, and he had supernatural powers. In Wang Yangming's study case, he also played with the magic powers, but in the end he discarded them. Wang Yangming is more powerful than you, his friends want to see him from a long distance, he already knows. On that day, he went out and waited a few miles away. Friends say, why are you here? He said, I'll pick you up. Friend wondered: How do you know I'm coming? He said, I already knew that. However, Wang Yangming later gave up on this. He said, "This is playing with the spirit also!" "So, if you look at Wang Yangming's study case, he took the Confucian route.
Wang Yangming was very interesting at that time, and he would go in and out. The Meiji Restoration of the Japanese was influenced by his learning, which is called Wang Xue. Chiang Kai-shek also studied Wang Xue. Wang Yangming used to be an inspector in Jiangxi, and the inspector at that time was equivalent to the current party, government, and army grasping it, and had more power than the governor.
There is a story, in another biography of Wang Yangming, that Wang Yangming went to a temple in Jiangxi, and he saw that this temple was very good, but there was a room locked; he asked the monk, why is this room locked? The monk said that in the past, there was an old monk who was in retreat, nirvana, died inside, and ordered the lock not to be opened. Wang Yangming listened, there is a problem! He was the highest local chief, and there were strange things in this temple, maybe some secret agent was inside, or the monk was doing something bad to deceive people. He said open! I looked, and the monk said, you must not open it, our ancestors of two or three generations have commanded that this room must not be opened.
Wang Yangming's personality, the more I listen to it, the more strange it is, I must open it, open it for me immediately! His majesty shot, and with a single command, the monk had no way but to open it. When I opened it, a skeleton was meditating there, and there was a note on the table in front of it, which read, "Fifty years ago, Wang Shouren, opening a door is a person who closes the door."
Wang Yangming's name is Wang Shouren, Yangming is his number, he is stupid, oh, it turns out that he is me! The former body was nirvana here, and when he worked to this point, he foresaw that when he reincarnated again, he would open this door.
The Confucians do not adopt this passage of the public case and do not record it. Think it's too superstitious.
