Xinhua News Agency reporter Xu Yongchun
Yin Zheng, global executive vice president and president of Schneider Electric in China, said in a written interview with Xinhua News Agency a few days ago that China is actively promoting the green transformation of the economy, which brings more development opportunities for multinational enterprises. Schneider Electric participated in the China International Import Expo for the fourth time this year, hoping to continue to expand the "circle of friends" and resonate with the same frequency as China's industrial upgrading and transformation.
Yin Zheng said that the successful holding of the first three CIIE and the arrival of the fourth CIIE as scheduled fully demonstrate China's determination and action to continue to expand opening up and create a good business environment. "China's continuous expansion of opening up, the construction of an open and equal business environment, the strengthening of the protection of intellectual property rights, and the equal treatment of domestic and foreign investment have brought more confidence to multinational enterprises, including Schneider Electric, in the development of China, and also provided Schneider Electric with fertile soil for taking root in China."
Yin Zheng said that the Expo is not only a display platform, but also a platform for exchanges and cooperation. For the fourth time this year, Schneider Electric will be present in the Energy Low Carbon and Environmental Protection Technology Zone, showcasing the concepts and practices related to "zero carbon cities". He said that the recovery of a green and low-carbon economy has become a global consensus. This year, the Expo set up a special area for energy, low-carbon and environmental protection technologies, which precisely reflects the concept of green development.
Yin Zheng said that low carbon and digital transformation are the two major trends in China's industrial development. Schneider Electric looks forward to using its technical experience in the field of energy management and automation to work with partners to create a "zero-carbon" future and help China's industry achieve transformation.
"As a grand offline event, ciie also showed a new model and new way to carry out economic and trade activities and epidemic prevention and control under the normalization trend of epidemic prevention and control, so that Schneider Electric has more confidence in long-term planning and development in China." Yin Zheng said.
It is understood that Schneider Electric, headquartered in France, has continued to increase its investment in China in recent years, and in the past 5 years, the annual R& D investment in China has increased by more than 15%. At present, China has become the second largest market for Schneider Electric in the world.
As one of the first multinational companies to start investing in China, Schneider Electric has been deeply involved in China for 34 years. "Despite some uncertainty caused by the epidemic, Schneider Electric is still optimistic about the Chinese market for a long time. The new round of high-level opening up measures promoted by China fully demonstrates the inclusiveness of China's economy and allows us to see more opportunities for cooperation, innovation and win-win results with Chinese partners. Yin Zheng said.
