This is a self-composed mountain song that Wang Shunyou, a model worker in the country and a postman from Maban Postal Road in Muli Tibetan Autonomous County, Liangshan Prefecture, loved to sing before his death. For 32 years, he relied on only one horse to travel back and forth to the hundreds of kilometers of Maban Mail Road. Thirsty for mountain spring water, tired of sleeping in the cave, a total of 260,000 kilometers of trek, he did not delay a shift, did not lose a single mail, became the most reliable "deep mountain messenger" in the hearts of the local people.
Indifferent to fame and fortune and selfless dedication are the profound connotations of the spirit of labor models.
