Be a good "rice bag", "vegetable basket", "flower bottle" and "fruit plate" in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and even the whole province and the whole country, and cultivate and expand "tea jars", "water cups", "wine jars", "milk bottles" and "agricultural seeds".
The autumn breeze is refreshing and the rice is fragrant, and it is another harvest season of the year. At present, it is the period of late rice harvesting, and at the Zhongtang base of the Conghua Fragrant Rice Industrial Park, several harvesters are taking advantage of the better weather to seize the time to harvest late rice, and a joyful harvest scene is presented everywhere in the field.
At about 10:00 a.m. on November 2, in the rice fields of Zhongtang Village in Aotou Town, heavy rice ears bent the rice stalks, and golden rice waves rolled up by gusts of wind covered the fields with "gold clothes". In the rice field, the harvester travels back and forth through the rice field with full horsepower, separating the plump grains of rice from the ears. After a while, the harvester drove to the edge of the field, stretched out a conveyor pipe on the side, and transported the rice to the truck.
Speaking of this year's harvest, the relevant person in charge of the Zhongtang base showed a smile on his face and said cheerfully: "This year's rice harvest is good!" The rice varieties planted in the late planting of Zhongtang Base are mainly "19 incense", and 5 varieties such as sweet silk seedlings and nanjing incense sticky from South China Agricultural University were tested. Good weather coupled with the use of new technology from South China Agricultural University, the late rice yield of the base this year is about 1050 jin, and the average mu yield is about 10% higher than last year.
It is reported that at present, it is the peak harvest period for late rice production in Zhongtang Base, and it is expected to complete the harvest before November 16.
