Wang Rong was very greedy, and in the early years of his tenure as an assassin in Jingzhou, he secretly ordered people to build a garden mansion, but after being discovered, he lost his official position, and later Wang Rong took money to redeem it.

It is reported that Wang Rong originally had a plum tree with an excellent harvest, which can bear fruit every year, and Wang Rong saw that the plum was so good, although he intended to take it to sell, but he was worried that others would buy plums and would take the core of the plum and plant such a good plum tree, so he drilled out the core of the plum one by one before selling.

When Wang Rong's daughter married Pei Jun, she borrowed tens of thousands of dollars from Wang Rong, but after a long time it was not returned. Therefore, every time his daughter came home to visit, Wang Rong always froze his face and looked displeased, until his daughter paid off all the loans, Wang Rong gradually became happy with her.

When Wang Rong's nephew got married, Wang Rong's gift was just a single piece of clothing, and after the nephew was married, he went to the door to ask for it back.

Wang Rong's miserly behavior was evaluated differently by everyone at that time, some people thought that he was avoiding disasters and protecting himself in the chaotic world, and some people thought that he was born like this, but Dai Kui at that time said that as Wang Rong's private personality, this should not be put in public discussion.

Wang Rong was born into a famous family, when he was a child, his father Wang Hun had a friend named Ruan Yuan, the two had a good relationship, but the topic was not much and he resigned every time he could not say a few words. Once Wang Hun took his son Wang Rong to meet this old friend, Ruan Yuan saw Wang Rong but opened the conversation box, the two chatted very happily, Ruan Hun slightly emotionally joked to Wang Hun: "Chatting with you is not as interesting as talking to your son." Wang Rong was also like this, establishing a friendship with him and entering the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Forest.

When Wang Rong was a child, he had a unique personal view, and he had his own unique views on everything and things, and he would not blindly follow others. When he was seven years old, the children saw a fruitful plum tree on the side of the road and went to pick it. Wang Rong believed that if the fruit on the side of the road was not picked, the taste must be bitter, and after everyone tasted it, it was not true.

Wang Rong was not only young and early-wise, when he was a child, his eyes lit up, a pair of eyes could actually stare directly at the sun's rays, without any avoidance, and after someone saw him, he praised that this child's eyes were shining, as if they were electrified.

In addition, the young Wang Rong was not only a man of great thinking, but also had great courage, and when he was six or seven years old, he was not afraid of the tigers in the square who cut off their claws and teeth, although everyone heard the roar of the tigers and was frightened and retreated, but the little Wang Rong fixed his eyes on it without fear.

Perhaps Wang Rong's talent at a young age is related to his extremely superior family background, and his precocious insight, courage, filial piety and various characteristics must be inseparable from his birth in a famous family.
