On October 8, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian presided over a regular press conference.
Asked by a reporter, Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio delivered his first policy address on the 8th, saying that it is important to build a stable Sino-Japanese relationship, and asked China to take responsible actions while maintaining dialogue and working together to deal with common issues. What is China's comment on this?
Zhao Lijian said that China and Japan are each other's important close neighbors and partners, and they are also important countries in the region, with extensive common interests and broad space for cooperation. It is hoped that the Japanese side and the Chinese side will move in the same direction, abide by the principles established in the four political documents between China and Japan, uphold the spirit of learning from history and creating the future, strengthen dialogue and communication, enhance mutual trust and cooperation, and jointly promote the healthy and stable development of China-Japan relations in the right direction.
