Tai Jia repents

The Shang Dynasty was a slave state established by the Shang Tang Dynasty (c. 16th century BC to the 11th century BC), and the Shang capital was in Bo (present-day southern Cao County, Shandong), and later migrated many times.

Pan Geng moved to Yin (present-day Xiaotun Village, Anyang County, Henan), so Shang was also known as Yin.

Tang is a descendant of the Gaoxin clan, one of the Zhuxia tribes, and was originally the leader of the Shang clan.

Yi Yin was originally a slave of the Youxin family, and after Tang intermarried with the Youxin family, Yi Yin came to the Shang Tang family as a dowry slave, gained Cheng Tang's trust, and was appointed as the ruling minister.

In the process of making soup and extinguishing summer, Yi Yin made an important contribution.

Shang Tang established the Shang Dynasty, and after thirteen years of death, the inheritance law of the Shang Dynasty was passed on to the son after the brother and the brother, without a younger brother.

Shang Tang had no younger brother, and he should pass the throne to his eldest son Tai Ding after his death, but Tai Ding died earlier than his father, so he was succeeded by Tai Ding's younger brother Wai Bing.

After three years, Wai Bing died and was succeeded by his younger brother Zhongren.

After another four years, Zhongren also died.

At this time, the founding father Yi Yin was the lord, and Tai Jia, the son of Tai Ding, inherited the throne.

In this way, after Chengtang's death, Yi Yin assisted Emperor Waibing (Chengtang's second son), Emperor Zhongren (Chengtangzi, Waibing's brother), and Emperor Taijia's three kings, at which time the actual ruling power of the Shang Dynasty was in the hands of Yi Yin.

Taijia, also known as Zhijia, was the eldest grandson of Chengtang, who reigned for three years, because of tyranny and chaos, did not abide by the rules formulated, did not act according to the law of Chengtang, about 1547 BC, Yi Yin exiled Taijia to Tonggong (present-day Yanshi County, Henan Province), where Shang Tang's grave was located, and during Taijia's exile, Yi Yin did not establish a new king, and he himself took charge of the political state.

Taijia lived in tong palace for three years, repenting of self-blame, Yi Yin welcomed Taijia back to the capital Bocheng, restored the throne, and let him regain power.

After Taijia restored the government, he worked hard to govern and inherited the cause of Chengtang, and as a result, "the princes returned to Yin, the people were at peace", Yin Zhongxing, and the rule of the Shang Dynasty was consolidated. Later generations called him Emperor Zhongzong.

Around 1533 BC, Taijia died, and Yi Yin composed three articles of the Taijia Training to praise Taijia.
