The process of receding the No. 1 and No. 2 floods of the Yellow River has not yet ended, the middle and lower reaches of the main tributary reservoirs are running at high water levels, the river has been in a state of large-flow flooding for a long time, a new round of rainfall is still continuing, a variety of unfavorable factors are superimposed, and the flood control situation is becoming more and more severe.

In view of the actual situation that the Flood Control Pressure of the Yellow River is relatively large in the process of flooding, while cooperating with the Yellow River Affairs Department to strengthen the inspection and defense of the embankment, the Shandong Provincial Water Conservancy Department issued a special notice to guide the cities along the Yellow River to fully seize the favorable opportunity and increase the intensity of diverting water from the Yellow River, so as to distribute the flood water of the main stream of the Yellow River and reduce the flood pressure of the Yellow River.
