The water receded and rebuilt the homeland - Qingxu Xiaowu Village

author:Taiyuan Radio and Television Station

When the water recedes and returns to their home garden, how are the villagers in the affected villages of Qingxu living? On November 1, the reporter went to Xiaowu Village in Mengfeng Town, which was the hardest hit by the disaster.

At about 12 noon, there was no trace of water or mud in the small square outside the village committee of Xiaowu Village, and several clean cars were parked. It is when people eat lunch, and the smell of food wafting out of the unknown house fills the air, faint, and tempting.

Wang Yonggang, chairman of the villagers' committee, has not yet bothered to eat lunch; he has just made public the resettlement list of the affected people and discussed other matters with the members of the villagers' committee. Seeing the reporter and understanding the intentions, Wang Yonggang introduced: "The water is coming, the electricity is connected, the air energy (heating) is available, the 938 households in the village, all those who can go home have gone home, and other villagers affected by the houses have also had suitable places to go, and the restoration and reconstruction work is gradually and orderly." ”

There are people

53-year-old Bai Ruigang, when he saw the reporter, said that he had never encountered such a large amount of water in his half life, the alley outside the gate was completely flooded, and the yard also came in with water. Fortunately, there were a few steps in front of his house, and the interior was not invaded by the water. Still, the house, built in the early 1990s, had its foundations affected to some extent, and he plans to strengthen it later.

While briefing reporters on the situation, Barry gang put the corn he had previously snatched from the field into a hoard. He has 9 acres and 1 point of land, affected by the water, and 7 acres confiscated. "The main thing is that you can't get into the ground, just like the swamp, it's difficult to get off your feet." Wait, those whose stalks have not fallen and have not been soaked in water can be snatched back. The loss is certain, but after so many years of ditches and bumps, this difficulty can be overcome. People are all there, not afraid. ”

The days are getting better and better

In the Bai family courtyard, several cabbages grew well, but Bai Ruigang's wife told reporters that some cabbage could not be eaten. Break open the leaves and look at it, there is a lot of sludge, which is the trace left by the blisters. Health and epidemic prevention personnel remind that the cabbage that has been soaked in water may have been contaminated and cannot be eaten.

"Is it cold at home?" The reporter asked.

The white hostess replied: Not cold.

The weather is good these days, the sun shines during the day, it is warm, and it is conducive to the evaporation of water. At night, after the village is electrified, the air energy (heating) system at home can work normally, and it is not cold. Wang Yonggang on the side introduced that when the disaster occurred, all the villagers evacuated, and in order to ensure safety, the entire village lost power. The water has receded, the power supply has been restored after emergency repair, and the air energy of each household has been tested and put into use one after another.

Leaving the Bai family, walking in the alleys of Xiaowu Village, I occasionally met a few villagers, and I couldn't see any helplessness and panic in their eyes, the disaster gradually disappeared, and people basically restored their former quiet life.

Under the leadership of the village cadres, the reporter went to the south side of Xiaowu Village to prepare his own well. Xiaowu Village has two self-owned wells, one in the south and one in the north, supplying the domestic water of 2430 people in the village. In this disaster, the equipment of the self-owned well on the south side was damaged and the water quality was polluted. Immediately after the situation arose, the health and water departments closed the well, the water receded, and treatment began. At present, the water quality has been tested to be qualified and the operation has resumed. Several workers are building a well house with their own well, workers introduced, the well house was soaked, the equipment was destroyed, and now the equipment is restored, and the well house needs to be built, only the ground hardening is completed.

I have a bottom in my heart

The disaster caused serious water in the homes of 178 villagers in the south of Xiaowu Village, and the houses were damaged to varying degrees. These houses have been identified, are uninhabited and are managed by the village committee. Wang Yonggang introduced that all the affected villagers are now resettled on their own, relying on relatives and friends, and have their own places to go.

In Wang Yonggang's heart, the placement of villagers has always been a difficult problem, and even made him feel bottomless at one time. However, shortly after the disaster occurred, the party and the government, while directing the rescue and disaster relief, began to gradually arrange post-disaster resettlement and reconstruction. During the conversation, Director Wang Yonggang said that in the nearly one month since the disaster occurred, whether it was the previous emergency rescue and disaster relief, evacuation of personnel and temporary resettlement, or the current water and electricity, post-disaster resettlement and recovery and reconstruction, he deeply felt the strength of the party and the government. He said: "With the leadership and organization of the party and the government, the villagers' lives will gradually get on the right track, and I, the director, will have a better heart when I start working." ”
