"Jintang" became a loach nursery base
"Jintang" is located in Jintang Village, Baitu Township, 4 groups of Yandan Hills (small place name), covering an area of nearly 3 acres. "It all depends on He Qicai to do this thing, and we also increase our income." Huang Youqun, a local poor household, told reporters that he was listed by the government as a poor household with a construction card in 2016.
"Last year I brought in 70,000 seedlings from him and then farmed them ecologically in my own contracted fields. Each mu of 7 mu of rice field can produce 500 kg of rice and 400 kg of loach at the same time. If it weren't for the rising water, it would be completely fine to earn eight or nine thousand yuan..." This year Huang Youqun "got the law", and now he has already sorted out the drainage ditches in the rice fields, "If the water rises again this year, a loach will not want to wash away." As early as 2017, villager He Qicai was thinking about how to realize his dream that "green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains". Later, under the order of a friend, he decided to engage in "rice loach farming" and drive the villagers to get rich. Soon, he transferred more than 3 acres of farmland in the village, built a loach seedling base, and then established a professional cooperative. "In addition to providing free technical guidance to farmers, last year we also reduced the nursery fee by 70% for each poor household." He Qicai told reporters, "I didn't expect this to be done, and the villagers were very interested." ”
"Jintang" turns poor households into "science and technology demonstration households"

Deng Yixiang, 65, was listed as a poor household with a jianka in 2014. The 88-year-old mother was paralyzed in bed for many years, and his wife, Liu Desu, 62, suffered from rheumatism for many years. The advantage of this production mode is that the microorganisms and pests in the rice field during the growth process of rice provide sufficient food for the growth of loach, and the excrement of loach is rich in a large amount of calcium, phosphorus, iron, selenium and trace elements such as vitamins B1, B2 and niacin, providing sufficient organic fertilizer for the growth of rice. In this complementary biological chain, the rice produced is a high-quality green organic rice, and the farmed loach has a high protein content and good taste. "Jintang" paints the dream of poverty alleviation in the village

Up to now, 8 poor households in the village have a total of more than 40 mu of rice fields to achieve "rice loach breeding". More than 40 acres of rice fields can produce 48,000 catties of loach (can be raised for at least 3 seasons, 400 catties per mu per season) and 20,000 catties of rice. "If loach is calculated at a minimum of 15 yuan / catty and rice is calculated at a minimum of 8 yuan / catty, the output value can reach more than 800,000 yuan." He Qicai said.
During the interview, the reporter learned that the most valuable natural resource of Jintang Village is sufficient water resources. "The mountain spring water at the mouth of the bowl does not dry all year round, flows throughout the village, and the water quality is particularly good."
