Sanya, June 14 (China News Network) -- On June 14, the Dragon Boat Festival at the beginning of the fifth lunar month, the dragon dance team composed of residents of the surrounding communities appeared in the Sanya Tianya Haijiao Tourist Area, dancing colorful dragons, presenting a parade and performance for the visiting citizens and tourists.

In the morning, the gongs and drums in the tour area of the end of the world were noisy and the flags were flying. Dressed in costumes, Maling community residents formed a dragon dance parade phalanx of more than 150 people, five colorful dragons of high Qingqing, yellow, red, black and white, striding all the way along the landscape avenue, Tianya Haijiao Square, Tianya Wharf, Tianya Stone and other areas and performing, where the citizens and tourists flocked together, the scene was lively.

Among them, the performances in Tianya Haijiao Square are particularly wonderful and lively. Stepping on the drums, the five giant dragons fluttered, the dragon scales flashed, the dragon whiskers flew, and the members of the dragon dance team tacitly cooperated, and the "dragon head" persevered in chasing the dancing "dragon balls", taking turns to perform the formations of flying dragons in the sky, dragon leaping tiger leaps, dragons walking in the world, and panlong clouds and seas.

Mr. Wang, a tourist from Sichuan, said that he did not expect that the Dragon Boat Festival could "encounter" the spectacular dragon dance parade at the end of the world, and the unique dragon dance performance was exciting.

Zheng Conghui, chairman of Sanya Tourism Group and Tianya Haijiao Company, introduced that the dragon dance parade performance is one of the traditional cultural activities of residents of Maling Community in Tianya District during the Dragon Boat Festival.
