When Xu Gang learned that helping others "commit suicide", the other party would not only not call the police, but also leave his own property to him, Xu Yang moved his mind.
According to the agreement between the two, on October 10, Xu Gang came to Zhengzhou to meet with Zhang Yang, and then the two made an agreement on the killing methods and crime tools and honorariums, etc. On the morning of October 11, Xu took 70,000 yuan in cash twice, and the two officially began the plan of "hiring murderers to kill themselves".
However, this plan was only half implemented in the end, because Zhang Yang did not die, but caused serious injuries, and Zhang Yang also chose to call the police.
I did not see that the parties in these two "hired murderers" cases had similar situations, complete or high-level paralysis, severely limited mobility, no happiness to speak of, and finally did not die.
So the controversy comes, is the person who helped these two end pains good or sinner? Do they count as intentional homicide?

In fact, some countries have already introduced "euthanasia" laws, such as Switzerland, that is, from the humanitarian point of view, can make people end their lives with dignity, is this not human progress?
Instead of letting a person die, it is better to die easily than to die.

In China's "Criminal Law", the crime of intentional homicide is stipulated as follows:
Article 232 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates that whoever intentionally kills person shall be sentenced to death, life imprisonment or fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 10 years;
The crime of intentional homicide is a real murderer, and as long as the perpetrator commits intentional homicide, it constitutes intentional homicide. Since the right to life is the most basic and important right of citizens' personal rights, regardless of whether the victim was actually killed or not, no matter what stage the act of homicide is in the preparation, attempt, or suspension of the intentional crime, it constitutes a crime and should be filed and prosecuted.
