Control is carried out when the rate of corn and sunflower crops is 30% or when the population density of 100 plants reaches 50. The recent high temperature and drought in the whole flag are conducive to the occurrence of the insect. In order to effectively do a good job in the prevention and control of corn and sunflower double-spotted long-planted firefly beetles, and minimize the harm of the insect, it is recommended that all townships actively organize farmers to carry out prevention and control work. To control the insect, it is necessary to unify prevention and control in order to achieve better prevention and control results.

Prevention and control measures:

Select 1.80% avermectin 2000 times liquid, 15% sweep mite net 3000 times liquid, 20% Arvic mite 2000 times liquid, 2.5% high performance cypermethrin emulsion 1500-3000 times liquid, 2.5% cypermethrin emulsion 1500-2000 times liquid, spray evenly throughout the field. Intervals of 7-10 days, alternate use, spray 2 times in a row.
