The participants believed that as the most popular modern audiovisual art form in cross-cultural communication, film is an important carrier for integrating the world to carry out people-to-people exchanges, and is an important carrier for cultural inheritance and mutual construction of civilizations to build a community with a shared future for mankind.

Cao Yin, director of the Film Satellite Program Production Center of the Central Propaganda Department, said that in the face of the new crown epidemic, the Chinese film industry has taken the lead in resuming work in the world and has achieved world-renowned results. Taking last year as an example, the total box office of Chinese films in 2020 reached 20.4 billion yuan, surpassing North America and ranking first in the world. This year, the box office of Chinese films has exceeded 40 billion yuan, of which, in the seven days of National Day alone, the total box office of Chinese films is nearly 4.4 billion yuan.

Cao Yin believes that it is necessary to strengthen the international communication capacity of films, extract and display the cultural essence of China's excellent traditional culture with contemporary value and world significance, and create more credible, cute and respectable Chinese images through Chinese films, so that more people can feel the Chinese spirit, Chinese values and Chinese strength through movies.

Tang Jili, chairman, screenwriter, director and producer of China Film International, said that in shooting films such as kung fu and treasure hunting adventures, he tried his best to integrate the common values of martial arts, chivalry, and peace as precious. He believes that the community of human destiny is a value concept generated by relying on China's excellent traditional culture, which condenses the long and thick Chinese wisdom. If Chinese films want to go global, they must integrate into the world and must innovate in inheritance.

Yin Li, vice chairman and director of the China Filmmakers Association, said that the rapid development of Chinese films is obvious to all, thanks to the continuous expansion of artistic creation space by generations of filmmakers and the support of young audiences for domestic films. Yin Li believes that compared with the world's first film power, breaking through the single box office revenue of films can establish a complete film industry system in derivative products and copyright authorization, and the road for Chinese filmmakers in the future is still far away.

Director, actor and screenwriter Xu Zheng said that he hopes that Chinese films can release the power of Chinese culture on the road of building a community with a shared future for mankind. Actor Huang Xiaoming said that he hopes that Chinese filmmakers can innovate in the inheritance and inherit in innovation.
