After receiving the news, the night patrol team of the Mixed Board Branch of the Hatamachi Border Inspection Station quickly assembled in place. Lurking in the darkness, staring dead at the left side of the passage. "Whoops..." The noise on the wall grew louder and louder, and then a few faint flashlights of light were revealed. Suddenly, a dark shadow poked its head out, looked left and right, jumped in, and jumped in from outside the wall. And then the second one, the third...

The Waching Border Inspection Station has always maintained a high-pressure and "zero tolerance" attitude towards cross-border crimes and crimes, established a cross-system centralized office and cross-police collaborative investigation and handling work mechanism, regularly carried out comprehensive research and judgment of the cross-border crime situation, and dug deep into the organizational transportation structure and channels. Since the beginning of this year, the station has seized a total of 229 illegal entry and exit personnel.
Border smuggling? Don't!
On June 15, the Hatamachi Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station reported to the public that the station had recently seized an extraordinarily large case of cigarette smuggling during border inspection work.
At about 11:00 a.m. on June 10, the police on duty at the Hatamachi Border Inspection Station found in their work that the trucks that had just entered China from Myanmar and then stopped at the provincial highway in violation of regulations were very suspicious, and many cartons wrapped in green woven bags suddenly appeared next to the vehicles. After careful inspection and identification by the police on duty, it was found that the cartons scattered on the ground did not match the size, weight and appearance of the cartons of the actual cargo loaded by the trucks, which immediately aroused the vigilance of the police on duty.
Subsequently, the police on duty disassembled and inspected the vehicles and their cargo in accordance with the law, and found that there were a large number of smuggled cigarettes hidden in the cartons inside the trucks on the spot, and 3 smuggled vehicles were seized at the scene. After a comprehensive inventory, a total of 534 smuggled cigarettes of various types were seized at the scene, totaling 26,840 pieces, with a case value of more than 2.4 million yuan.

Smuggled goods have not been screened and disinfected by the customs inspection and quarantine department, and it is very likely to carry the new crown pneumonia virus abroad, and once it flows into the country, the consequences are unimaginable.
In this regard, the Border Inspection Station of Hatamachi has deployed special operations to combat crime, strengthened the use of smart new policing methods, strengthened the research and exploration of technical and tactical methods and the construction of the investigation system, and strictly investigated and cracked down on border smuggling. Since the beginning of this year, the station has cracked a total of 14 smuggling cases, with a case value of 3.237 million yuan.
Keep people in control and keep the goods flowing
Located in the south of Dehong Dai Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province, adjacent to Jiugu City, Myanmar, it is an important trade channel on the southwest border between China and Myanmar, and a large number of Burmese fruits enter the customs through this customs and are sold to various parts of the country. Before the epidemic, there were more than 7,000 passengers entering and leaving the country in a single day, the traffic flow could reach 3,000 times, and the import volume of goods could reach 20,000 tons.
Keep people in control and keep the goods flowing. The increasingly severe situation of the epidemic situation abroad has not only greatly affected border trade, but also brought new challenges to the inspection and control of border inspection organs. In particular, in late March this year, the freight passage of some national gate passages in Dehong Dai Jingpo Prefecture was closed, and the Hatamachi Port and Mixed Plate Passage became the only freight import and export channel for Ruili border trade.

During the epidemic period, it is certain to do a good job in epidemic prevention and control, but many border trade merchants still hope to bring more goods into customs. ”
In order to alleviate this problem, the Mangman Channel has once again upgraded the guarantee customs clearance measures, and successively launched a variety of optimization measures such as delayed customs clearance, reservation customs clearance, and green customs clearance. In particular, the retreat time was postponed from 18:00 to 24:00, which solved the urgent needs of many enterprises.

The implementation of delayed customs clearance, coupled with the closure of adjacent port passages, has doubled the duty time and inspection and control pressure of the border inspection police in Hatamachi. At the end of the day, some police officers have a cumulative maximum duty time of more than 12 hours, and they still need to face the pollution of noise, exhaust, and oil stains at all times, and they wear protective equipment for a few minutes, covered in sweat. With the around-the-clock insistence of the police at the Hatamachi Border Inspection Station, the station has inspected more than 22,000 people entering and leaving the station and more than 18,000 vehicles entering and leaving the station this year.
