"The Banner of the Fathers"
The third lecture of this issue is "The First Man of Red Bookkeeping", which tells the story of Lieutenant General Zhao Rong. The keynote speaker was Ms. Zhao Jingya, the daughter of Lieutenant General Zhao Rong.
The ancients said: "Those who want to understand people first self-evident, and those who want to correct people first correct themselves." In the course of our party's historical development, many party members and cadres have strengthened their convictions in their work, set an example by example, always have a self-disciplined heart, often think about the harm of greed, do their own work in a down-to-earth manner, establish a good revolutionary image, and guide others through strict self-discipline. Lieutenant General Zhao Rong, who is the first person in red bookkeeping in this issue of the "Banner of the Father's Generation" series of open classes, is such an excellent party member cadre.

Lieutenant General Zhao Rong
Zhao Rong (1899-1992), a native of Binchuan County, Yunnan Province, was a member of the Communist Party of China, a proletarian revolutionary, a political worker of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and a senior general of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. In 1955, he was awarded the rank of lieutenant general and was awarded the Order of August 1st Class, the Order of Independence and Freedom of the First Class, and the Liberation Medal of the First Class. In 1988, he was awarded the Medal of Merit of the Red Star, First Class.

On the Long March Road, some comrades took guns and went to the battlefield to kill the enemy; some comrades took pens and did a lot of work for our party's red propaganda; while Comrade Zhao Rong provided support and guarantee for our party's logistical work through red bookkeeping.
During the Long March, the conditions were extremely harsh, and it was very difficult to let the soldiers have food to eat and clothe; to protect and distribute the materials that the soldiers exchanged for blood also required using their brains and finding suitable methods; the troops were on the move at any time, there was no fixed granary, and the preservation and conservation of grain required wisdom and courage; the danger of transporting materials was no less than that of fighting, and many comrades along the way made sacrifices.
What specific difficulties did Lieutenant General Zhao Rong encounter during the Long March, how did he have the courage and strategy to resolve them, and how did he provide meticulous and thoughtful assistance to the soldiers? Ms. Zhao Jingya, the main speaker of this course, is the daughter of Lieutenant General Zhao Rong, and she will introduce the difficulties in logistics support work and the specific contributions made by Comrade Zhao Rong. Through Ms. Zhao Jingya's narration, we will understand the complexity of the revolutionary war and the importance of logistical support; we will also feel the image of a revolutionary ancestor who is selfless and fearless in work, who puts others before himself, who is diligent and thrifty in life, and the image of a father who is self-reliant and self-reliant, amiable and respectable.
