In January 2017, after the book was printed and published by a British publishing house, it became a fire in the European children's picture book market.

"Tubby the giant panda is actually my own prototype," Zhou Kasa told the West China Metropolis Daily-Cover News reporter, she is a native of Chengdu, and has a deep affection for Rongcheng culture such as changing faces and building bowls of tea, but she is also a "restless" person who likes to travel, and the theme of this giant panda Tubby traveling around the world can also be regarded as a realization of her dream.
A few years ago, Zhou Kasa, who was still in college, came into contact with picture books, because she had studied Chinese painting and watercolor since she was a child, and she had a certain foundation, and soon fell in love with this simple form of painting, "My college major is preschool education, and the form of picture books is very suitable for children to read, so I had the idea of drawing a group of picture books."
Zhou Kasa believes that as the image representative of Chengdu and China, the giant panda must not only reflect the Culture of Sichuan, but also spread the image of China to the world. Therefore, at the beginning of the book, Zhou Kasa introduced the giant panda Tubby like this: "Usually working, it is a face-changing performer, and he has also mastered the skill of spitting fire. Sometimes, Tubby also plays with a bowl of tea long-billed pot, which is one of the most famous traditional skills in Chengdu. ”

Zhou Kasa thought about it for a long time, but he never had a "good idea". As the so-called "day and night have dreams", one day she had a dream. "I dreamed that when Tuuby was looking for food in the wild, I saw a tent left by a human backpacker, and I was in a hurry, so I decided to use this tent to make a hot air balloon." Looking back now, Zhou Kasa still feels quite funny, but he did not expect a simple dream, which really became the most critical plot of the story, and the hot air balloon became a means of transportation for Tubby, taking it to travel around the world.
In January 2017, a British publishing house printed and published the picture book. Speaking of this experience, Zhou Kasa felt a little surprised.
About two years ago, Zhou Kasa took the manuscript and went alone to a children's calligraphy and painting exhibition in Shanghai to sell it. "At many publishing houses at the book fair, I took the manuscripts one stall at a time to recommend, and after a day of walking, a British publishing house said that it could try to publish, which made me so excited."
At present, Zhou Kasa is preparing to publish Chinese edition of "Giant Panda Tubby Around the World", and she also said that she will continue to create this theme in the future.
