Li Yan has been engaged in sanitation work since 2010. For 10 years, she came out early and returned late every day, always doing her work in front of others. No matter the heat and cold winter, never arrive late and leave early. With superior perseverance and hard work, it has won the unanimous praise of the masses and left many shining footprints in ordinary jobs.
Li Yan's work is lean and orderly, and no matter what road section she is responsible for, she will work hard and complain.
At the beginning of her work, Li Yan was assigned to Yunta Square in the center of Zhouzhi County. It was at a critical stage in the creation of a sanitary county, and there were never any problems in the area she was responsible for. Due to the needs of work, Li Yan's job position has been adjusted twice, one to North Avenue, which is densely packed with commercial outlets and large traffic and people flow; the other time to Beixin Street, which has high environmental health work standards and is difficult to operate. When there is an emergency operation in the sanitation work, she is always on call, completes the task well, works overtime and never feels hard, and has won honors for the unit many times, and has been rated as an advanced individual for 5 consecutive years.
Li Yan is strict with herself and helpful. In addition to doing a good job in the environmental hygiene of their own road sections, they often help other cleaners to clean the road, collect garbage, scrub fruit peel boxes, clean up wild advertisements, and remove health dead ends. If other cleaners take sick leave and personal leave, she voluntarily works overtime instead of work; sometimes she helps stores and residents clean the front door, sort out the debris in front of the door, and even enter the store to collect garbage; in the road cleaning, she takes the initiative to help the elderly to pass the traffic lights, which she does hundreds of times a year. She uses a solid work attitude to drive and touch the people around her.
Due to the particularity of sanitation work, lost items are often picked up during operations, and Li Yan will find ways to return the items picked up to the owner in time.
On the afternoon of the first day of the Chinese New Year in 2021, she picked up a mobile phone at the entrance of the county hospital in the operation section, returned it to the owner in only one hour, and politely refused the owner's heavy thanks.
