On January 15, Premier Zhou Enlai's memorial service was held in the Great Hall of the People, and people from all over the country came to the memorial service to send Premier Zhou Enlai on his last journey.

The acquaintance of the two stemmed from an exchange of knowledge, when Premier Zhou Enlai was very young, he had just returned from studying in Europe and served at the Whampoa Military Academy, when Premier Zhou Enlai often discussed national events and political situations with Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and over time he had a friendship with Dr. Sun Yat-sen, so he also knew the versatile and ambitious Soong Ching-ling.
Premier Zhou Enlai also admired Soong Ching-ling's talent and ambition, and later Premier Zhou Enlai specially invited Soong Ching-ling to come to the Whampoa Military Academy to give a speech, Soong Ching-ling had a unique view on the development of the Communist Party of China and the construction of the Chinese revolution, and she talked about some of her thoughts and understandings with the teachers and students of the Whampoa Military Academy, which aroused everyone's praise at that time, and also made Premier Zhou Enlai more and more admired Soong Ching-ling's talent.
After meeting Premier Zhou Enlai, Soong Ching Ling praised him as a far-sighted, resolute revolutionary leader, and very experienced; at that time, Premier Zhou Enlai was full of style and very young, but he was already a very accomplished leader, and not only did Soong Qingling praise him at the first meeting, but others also praised him for his first contact.

In 1925, after the death of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Soong Ching Ling became more determined on the road of supporting the Communist Party of China, and she wanted to take the road of revolution for Dr. Sun Yat-sen and unswervingly. It was also Song Qingling's firm revolutionary thoughts that later had more discussions and contacts with Premier Zhou Enlai on the cause of communism and so on, which also laid the foundation for their deep friendship.

When the news came out, Soong Qingling followed the National Government to Wuhan to carry out the work of treating the wounded and sick, and at that time the arrangements for the treatment work were not comprehensive for the time being, so Soong Qingling set up a Red Cross Society in Hankou to treat the wounded of the Northern Expedition, so that it would be more convenient to carry out the rescue and treatment work, and later Song Qingling also invited Chairman Mao and Premier Zhou Enlai to attend the inaugural meeting of the Red Cross Society, and Chairman Mao and Premier Zhou Enlai expressed great support for Song Qingling's behavior.
In 1927, Chiang Kai-shek could not control his ambition to launch a counter-revolutionary coup, and the smooth progress of the Northern Expedition did not prevent Chiang Kai-shek and other rightists from wanting to rebel against the idea of revolution, they made a lot of preparations for counter-revolution, a war was inevitable, and some casualties would increase in vain, which made Soong Qingling very angry, and this April 12 counter-revolutionary coup also made the LEADERS of the Communist Party of China very angry, so Chairman Mao published an article with Soong Ching-ling that completely broke with Chiang Kai-shek.

Although Soong Qingling was not in Nanchang at that time, she still expressed her approval to Premier Zhou Enlai in Nanchang; at the same time, she also used her actions to help Premier Zhou Enlai launch the Nanchang Uprising, and Soong Qingling and CPC members also jointly published articles denouncing chiang kai-shek and the right wing of the Kuomintang, exposing the ugly faces of these counter-revolutionaries, and ideologically affirming the Chinese revolution.

Soong Ching Ling secretly told Edgar Snow about the possibility of entering the Red Zone, and after hearing Snow's idea, a comrade of the underground organization of the Communist Party of China told Chairman Mao about Snow's difficulties, and Chairman Mao immediately wrote a letter of introduction for him to send to Snow through Soong Ching Ling, which laid the foundation for the later announcement of the great deeds of the Communist Party of China and the Red Army to the world.

In 1937, the Lugou Bridge Incident broke out, the Japanese army wanted to enter the Lugou Bridge in Beiping on the pretext of a soldier's disappearance, after the Chinese side refused, Japan used this as an excuse to launch a war at the Lugou Bridge, Japan's provocation caused protests from all over the country Chinese people, the Communist Party of our country immediately made relevant arrangements, at the same time, Japan's blatant provocation also aroused the patriotic enthusiasm of the people of the whole country, the people hoped that the Kuomintang could work with the Communist Party to drive the Japanese aggressors out of China.
Premier Zhou Enlai and some MEMBERS of the Communist Party of China believed that it was urgent to stop the civil war, so Premier Zhou Enlai and his party went to Chiang Kai-shek's residence without delay to negotiate; at that time, Soong Ching-ling was in Shanghai, and Premier Zhou Enlai was also passing through Shanghai on his way to his destination, so he came to visit Soong Ching-ling, and Soong Ching-ling was very happy when he received the news that Premier Zhou Enlai had come to visit.
Soong Ching Ling has always maintained close contact with the CCP underground organization, always conveying important information to the CCP organization, and she and Premier Zhou Enlai often communicate together in the form of letters because they are not in the same place, and the frequent exchanges between the two have made their friendship deeper. After the two men met, they talked about the current situation in China and what to do; Premier Zhou Enlai briefed Soong Ching-ling on the CPC's tactics and principles of resisting Japan and the relevant matters related to his visit to chiang kai-shek; after hearing this, Soong Ching-ling expressed his strong support for the decision made by the central authorities; and the relevant policies said by Premier Zhou Enlai also made Soong Ching-ling more determined to support and develop the revolutionary cause.

In 1976, Soong Ching Ling received a very sad news that Premier Zhou Enlai had passed away, and Soong Qingling was sad not only for the loss of a close friend, but also for the loss of a great leader for China.
