Official: Woods had a successful surgery and is currently awake, reactive and recovering

Woods was in a car accident in California and underwent lengthy surgery on his right calf and ankle at UCLA Medical Center. The comminutive fracture affected the upper and lower joints of his tibia and fibula, which were fixed by inserting a steel nail, and the injuries to the foot and ankle bones were fixed with screws and pins. Trauma to the leg muscles and soft tissues requires surgery to release muscle coverings to relieve the pressure caused by painful swelling.

At present, Woods has woken up, responded, and is hospitalized for recovery treatment.
