Qiqihar Tailai County is based on the construction of rural roads to meet the vision of a better life for farmers

Qiqihar News Network, July 26 (Liang Chen) As we all know, transportation is a precursor element of social and economic development, Tailai County, which once belonged to the state-level poverty county, has taken rural road construction as an important measure to crack the bottleneck restricting the development of poor areas since the battle against poverty was fully launched, gradually making the road smooth, and then building a "hard support" for the new journey of rural revitalization, and at the same time making countless people smile and be more yearning for a better tomorrow.

In the early morning of summer, the breeze is gusting and cool. Early in the morning, Pan Zhenbo, a farmer in Beibatun in Dongsheng Village, Pingyang Town, rode on his battery car, sniffed the fresh air after the rain, and went to his rice field to check the growth. Pan Zhenbo is 62 years old this year and has been planting all his life, but this year's mood is particularly different.

"Do you know how long it took me to walk from home to the rice paddies when I encountered this kind of weather before?"

There are 3 tunzi under Dongsheng Village, of which the Great Hula tun is very convenient due to the G231 national highway passing through the tun. The other two small Hulatun and Beibatun, which are distributed in a triangular trend with the Great Hulatun, are not, the old dirt roads of several decades, potholes can be found everywhere, sunny days full of ash, rainy days full of mud, such as school, medical treatment and other travel-related everything is quite inconvenient. Even when the autumn grain is received, due to the need to prevent the vehicle from shaking left and right on the potholed road, which in turn leads to grain spilling or even overturning, often each car can only pull half a warehouse or 1/3 warehouse. The increase in transportation costs is diluted by the benefits that farmers should have pocketed.

"Yes, it's half an hour, don't believe it, wearing rain boots over your knees, every step you take has to pull your legs out of the mud once, if you, half an hour may not be enough." 」 As if afraid that people would not be able to believe the difficulty of the previous road, when answering the questions he raised, Pan Zhenbo's tone was raised a few degrees.

"The changes in the past two years have really been too great, and the lives of our ordinary people are getting better little by little." Pan Zhenbo said with emotion that the government built the road between the big and small Hulatun last year, and this year built a road to Beibatun, which is 4 meters and 5 wide cement roads, thick enough, strong enough, riding battery cars is not hurried, 2 minutes from home to the ground. Pan Zhenbo also said that when selling grain this year, he must stand on his own grain pile and live a "full grain warehouse" addiction.

Similar to Pan Zhenbo, Yan Xiangjun, who lives in Taiping Village in Pingyang Town, is also extremely excited about the smooth flow of the road.

In the perception of the people around them, the road in Taiping Village is more difficult to walk, and its degree is even worse than that of Dongsheng Village.

Relatives who visit the door know that it is not easy to walk here, they are reluctant to come back and forth for many years, and someone has to lead the way to avoid "picking pits"; the grain collectors know that it is not easy to walk here, and they have to wait until the end of November to collect grain after the dirt road is completely frozen, otherwise the big cars cannot pass at all; the vendors who sell daily necessities and vegetables in the spring know that it is not easy to walk here, and on weekdays they just flow within a street in the west of the village, and the other people in the tunzi want to buy something, "Sorry, go out and buy it yourself, we can't get in"... Famous in this way, the villagers are more helpless in their hearts.

"In recent years, the problem of the road that our people have been worrying about has been solved by the government one by one, and in August last year, we also had our own cement slab road in Dabaijiatun." When describing the good days now, Yan Xiangjun's face finally showed a smile, saying that in the past, because the road was not working, he was forced to sell grain at the end of the year, and since last year, everyone has begun to dare to see the market situation "waiting for the price to sell", and other problems caused by the road have also been solved.

Unlike Pan Zhenbo and Yan Xiangjun, Wang Xingmin, a farmer who lives in the four miles and five villages of Keli Town, not only enjoys the convenience brought by the road, but even his daily work is closely related to the road. The road has become a part of his life.

In 2015, Wang Xingmin was identified as a poor household with a record card due to illness, and because he enjoyed multiple policy superpositions, he withdrew from the poverty sequence in 2019. On September 30, 2020, when the new Yongshui Road, which lasted more than a year and was 18.1 kilometers long and 7-9 meters wide, was completed and opened to traffic, Wang Xingmin had formed a group with two other old men to be responsible for the road cleaning work of more than 300 extended meters in the four miles and five sections of Yongshui Road in the form of public welfare posts.

Every day from 7:30 to 11:30 and from 14:00 to 17:30, wang Xingmin's working hours are. At this time, he would ride the electric tricycle distributed by the village with garbage, carrying tools such as splints, brooms, shovels, etc., and patrolling the working road back and forth, and any garbage that obstructed his view could not escape his eyes and hands.

This Yongshui Road, which connects Yong'an and Shuishang villages and passes through 5 other villages, is also an indelible memory in the hearts of the villagers along the route. As early as 1992, Yongshui Road was built as a black plate oil pavement, but due to the large number of vehicles passing by, as well as the low design standards of that year, it had long been overwhelmed by overdue service, and for the scene of the later road surface being dilapidated, Wang Xingmin recalled, "When the car was so dusty that no one could see who was on both sides, and the windows facing the highway in the homes of villagers along the line never dared to open, many people jokingly called it 'Iraq Road'." In addition, this road also leads to the Inner Monzaat Banner, which also has a bad impact on the local image, and many people know that Yongshui Road is "a car over a hurt car, a person is sad", and would rather take a detour than go. When the road surface is repaired in sections, even if it affects everyone's travel, the people have no complaints, and say that this is "hoping for the stars and hoping for the moon".

"After the road was repaired, at least 2,000 vehicles a day were coming and going, and we opened a number of small restaurants, daily grocery stores and the like along the line, and many people benefited from here." In the future, I will have to treat this road like a child, take care of this road cleanly, and make this road our pride. Wang Xingmin said.

According to statistics, since 2016, Tailai County has accumulated a total of 510.977 kilometers of rural road construction such as road network improvement, narrow road widening, and merger and consolidation of established villages, carried out the transformation of 38 rural dangerous bridges with 783.5 meters, and the total mileage of rural road hardening reached 2005.77 kilometers, achieving 100% of the road patency rate of 83 administrative villages, 96% of the natural Tun highway hardening rate, and 100% of the rural road maintenance rate, showing a trend of four-way access and eight-way extension, further smooth microcirculation. With a series of intertwined ties, the prosperity of people, traffic and logistics is strung together. In September 2018, Tailai County was jointly awarded the "Four Good Rural Roads" National Demonstration County by the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Poverty Alleviation Office of the State Council.
