With the rapid development of the industry in the early stage, the chaos of the wine market emerges in an endless stream, bringing economic burdens to enterprises, bringing confusion to consumers, and also bringing trust damage to the industry. In order to standardize the circulation order of China's wine market, help consumers consume more easily and conveniently, guide domestic and foreign wine practitioners to produce high-quality products, and promote the healthy development of China's wine industry, the China Wine Industry Association and the People's Government of Fangshan District of Beijing Municipality jointly sponsored the China International Wine Competition, and became the first international wine competition with Chinese characteristics, which is a profound exploration and practice to enhance the self-confidence of Chinese wine culture and consumer confidence.

This competition adheres to the principle of not taking business as the purpose, providing equal competition and display opportunities for the majority of wine products, and the participating enterprises voluntarily declare to participate, and the organizer does not charge any fees for the participating enterprises.
This year's China International Wine Competition appointed Duan Changqing, professor of China Agricultural University and chief scientist of the national grape industry technology system, as the chairman of the jury of the competition. The competition will use the wine China appraisal system to evaluate the participating wine samples, and more fully reflect The Chinese characteristics and style above the international standards. The judging panel is composed of wine industry professionals such as well-known winemakers, sommeliers, sommeliers, industry media and professional distributors at home and abroad. The contest is in the form of blind tasting, and the judges are only informed of the type, variety and vintage of the wine samples. To ensure fairness, the scoring criteria for all judges' panels will be harmonized through pre-tasting prior to the competition. In addition, the judges scored the wines while also being scored by the organizing committee. The organizing committee analyzes the standards and styles of the judges' scoring according to the judges' scoring data records, and gives feedback after the competition.
The China International Wine Competition is scheduled to be held once a year. The competition will collect wine products from China, Argentina, Germany, France, Georgia, the United States, South Africa, Portugal, Spain, New Zealand, Italy, Chile and other countries circulating in the Chinese market. Samples are grouped by price range, type and grape variety to ensure a fairer and more equitable comparison of similar wines.
The scoring results will be announced and presented in the form of lists and awards after the competition, and the production enterprises and appellations of high-quality products will be encouraged to help consumers choose high-quality wines and promote the healthy development of the market. The competition site is supervised and notarized by the industry media and notary personnel on the spot.
China Appraisal System To create a Chinese wine competition
The wine China appraisal system is the first appraisal system jointly released by the China Wine Industry Association, the China Food Industry Association and the China Horticultural Society in the field of wine, which aims to standardize the circulation order of China's wine market, shape the quality and value communication language between wine consumers and producers suitable for China's national conditions, guide scientific consumption, rational consumption and assured consumption, lead domestic and foreign wine practitioners to produce high-quality products, and regulate the healthy development of the wine industry. On this basis, the China Wine Industry Association will continue to strengthen the construction of wine culture, reasonably learn from and absorb the wine culture of other countries; conduct research on the history of Chinese wine development, clarify the history and transmission path of China's wine; strengthen the evaluation of the terminal capacity of the wine market, sort out and summarize the wine consumption guidelines with Chinese food and drinking culture characteristics; invite leading consumers to participate more in the wine terminal appraisal activities held by the China Wine Industry Association, so as to provide a detailed reference for consumers to understand consumption Construct healthy wine drinking scenes and methods, rationally promote wine meal and wine collocations, build and promote wine catering culture with Chinese characteristics, and strive to make wine a part of a better life for consumers.
