This print is made of the same kind of yellow-brown Shoushan hibiscus stone, although the printing surface is small, the print body is long and the pulp is thick. The upper end is engraved with a beast button (lion). This seal has a strong sense of ripeness, the warmth of the hope is crystalline, the caress is smooth and round, very cute. Its Yang script is "plain and innocent", the side section single knife letter "imitation of the Song Dynasty Zhu Wen printing style in Shanghai Xu Xi ji"; the yin text print is "enjoy itself", and its side single knife letter "Jia Chen Qiu September 6 imitation Han printing Xu Xi ji". The concept of these two seals is simple and generous, and the knife is bold and resolute, bold and careful. In the smaller square inches, the artistic effect of yin and yang complementing each other and combining complexity and simplicity has been achieved.

Xu Xiqi:

XU Xi (HAN Qing). Birth year is uncertain / Changzhou (Suzhou, Jiangsu) people. Son of Xu Kang. A work of Xu Xu, the word Hanqing, the number of doulu. Kecheng family learning, fine identification, engraving. Xu Xi's works are recorded in volume 19 of the "Ding Ugly Robbery Yu Yincun" compiled by Wang Fuchang and others, next to Zhao Mu, who should be the same as Zhao in the late Qing Dynasty. According to Mr. Han Tianheng, Xu Xi and Ding Ren once collected "Qin Han Seal Play". The collection of Qin and Han original seals began with the six volumes of Gu Congde's "Collection of Ancient Seals" by Gu Congde, a Shanghainese in the Ming Dynasty, with more than 1,600 buttons in storage. For the decline of the seal engraving art for eight generations, the rise of the Ming and Qing dynasties of seals, thus forming a situation of twin peaks, providing an abundant and indispensable excellent tradition of the Zhou, Qin, and Western Han Dynasties. Since then, the collection of ancient seals has become more and more popular, and in the past five hundred years, there have been no less than 700 kinds of ancient seals. Among them, the one with the most preserved seals was when Chen Jieqi compiled seven seals such as Wu Shifen and Wu Dayi during the Tongzhi Period of the Qing Dynasty (1872), and the "Ten Bell Mountain House Seals" was compiled. One of the largest ones, reaching more than 190 volumes, has more than 10,000 copies, and is a magnificent giant, unprecedented. And as far as I have seen in my sixty years of visits, "Qin Han Seal Play" is the second seat, and there are three thousand two hundred and fifty-one buttons. Of course, it is different from chen's collection of Tibetan printing and printing system, but Xu Xi and Ding Ren are based on their collections, and more are friendly and edited from the collection of ancient fragments, the collection of armpits into qiu, the gathering of sand into a tower, the predecessors and successors, it is not easy, of course, there are also occasional fake products. Fifteen years ago, this score was obtained at the Iijima Shoten in Jimbocho, Tokyo, Japan. The price is 600,000 yen (equivalent to 48,000 yuan at that time). The owner of the shop, Mr. and Mrs. Iijima, know that I have a good collection of old scores, and every good score is stored in Fu Wu, which is very affectionate, and now the old age can no longer be seen. Alas, Shu Shou is like Pengzu, if you meet a good person and good luck, you will have a life expectancy of eight hundred. Kangxi wants to borrow another five hundred years, who can borrow him? (Transferred from Han Tianheng's circle of friends)
