The founder of the Lingnan School of Painting, Ju Lian, collected and shared the fine works

Ju Lian (September 22, 1828 – May 5, 1904), a native of Jiashan Township, Panyu County, Guangdong Province (now part of Haizhu District, Guangzhou), was a chinese poet. And his brother's nest and called "two residences". Ju's works include "Flower Grass Insect Diagram", "Rich and Noble WhiteHead Diagram", "Twenty-four Fanhua Letter Diagram" and so on.

He was one of the founders of the Lingnan School, specializing in painting flowers, birds, grass worms and figures, especially sketching. On the basis of inheriting and developing the Yun Shouping boneless painting method, the method of bumping water and colliding powder was created. In his later years, he also painted without embellishment, and widely collected disciples, gao Jian's father's brothers, Chen Shuren, etc. were all under his door.
