Today (October 12), the first pipe jacking machine of the underground passage project of Lee Wai Lee Hospital was successfully launched, marking another big step forward in the project.

It is understood that the underground passage project of Li Huili Hospital is located at the intersection of Rainbow Road and Xingning Road in Yinzhou District, with a total length of about 214 meters, of which the east-west direction is about 124 meters long and the north-south direction is about 90 meters long. Since the project involves the xingning road comprehensive improvement project, rail transit line 4 and other cross-operations, to this end, the participating parties actively coordinate, go all out to grasp the progress, and minimize the inconvenience caused by the construction to the residents along the line.

According to reports, the north-south pipe jacking section is about 21 meters long, that is, from the No. 3 entrance and exit of the project (near the side of the Pan Di Commercial Plaza under construction) to the end of the track receiving well (located on Xingning Road), and the jacking section size is 6.9 meters * 3.9 meters. The pipe joint was transported to the site after the processing of the prefabricated plant was completed, and the 200-ton track crane was hoisted to the underground to complete the assembly, and the excavation time of the pipe jacking construction was expected to be 15 days.

In the next step, after the completion of the pipeline relocation of The No. 1 Entrance (near the side of Li Huili Hospital) and the No. 2 Entrance (near the side of Penglai Hotel), the construction unit will enter the site to carry out construction work, and strive to complete the preparation work for the starting of the Pipe Jacking at the Entrance and Exit No. 2 before the end of the year. The lee wai lee hospital underpass project is scheduled to be completed in the second half of 2022.
