The cement concrete pavement before and after the Tai Po Bridge is also in disrepair, there are many heavy vehicles, most of them have been broken and sunk, and the marking line is seriously worn, in order to ensure the smooth and safe road, it is urgent to renovate and upgrade the bridge and the connecting roads before and after.

The Shenzhen-Shantou Administration Bureau of the Municipal Transportation Bureau immediately organized on-site investigation and decided to close the traffic and dismantle and rebuild the Tai Po Bridge, considering the high traffic pressure of the road section, in order to ensure that the traffic was not interrupted during the construction period, a new temporary road was built on the east side of the Tai Po Bridge for vehicles to pass. At the same time, the 742-meter road before and after the Tai Po Bridge was transformed into a concrete subgrade asphalt pavement, and traffic safety facilities such as marking signs and guardrails were improved.
