Three minutes to learn about the great Russian avant-garde artists

Kazimir Severinovich Malevich (1878-1935) Russian painter, pioneer of the geometric abstract school, founder of suprematism. Born into a poor family in Kiev, Ukraine. "The Doctor of Hand and Foot Disease in the Bathroom" and "The Man Who Plays Cards", which were displayed at the Donkey Tail Exhibition in 1912, have cubist and futuristic features. He participated in the drafting of the Manifesto for Russian Futurist Artists.

He began with a rigorous education in Western art aesthetics, and later became the vanguard of early geometric abstraction with Kandinsky and Mondrian, and finally created the abstract art stage with simple and abstract geometric forms, as well as late black and white or bright colors of concrete geometric forms.

Supremacism was a sign of the end of the era of traditional painting, and the entire Suprematist art community consisted almost exclusively of Kazimir Severovich Malevich. Malevich's supremacist ideas influenced Tatlin's structuralism and Rodchenko's non-Objectivism, and were introduced to Germany through Lisitzki, influencing the Bauhaus's design teaching. He is a great pioneer of abstract painting in the twentieth century.

With his enigmatic works, Malevich sketched another brilliant starry sky for the art world in the 20th century, heralding the advent of an era of various artistic movements from Dadaism to later Minimalism. He opened up infinite prospects for art, leaving his latecomers to wander and wander.

Supremeist painting completely abandons the semantic and descriptive components of painting, and also abandons the presentation of the picture for the three-dimensional space. Those flat geometric shapes do not have the slightest sense of volume and depth. In Malevich's work, those geometric compositions are free and unrestrained, forming a rotating or centrifugal dynamic on the picture, which may be related to the influence of Futurism and radiationism.
