On October 23, the Key Laboratory of Smart Grid Sichuan Province 2021 Open Fund proposed to fund the project was announced, and the "Research on Data-driven Intelligent Meter Measurement Anomaly Identification Method" project declared by the discipline team of the New Technology Discipline Team of the School of Electrical Engineering of Guangzhou City University of Science and Technology was approved by the project with an amount of 50,000 yuan.
The new technology team of transmission and distribution of Guangzhou City Institute of Technology is one of the three discipline teams of the School of Electrical Engineering, focusing on the application research of big data, artificial intelligence algorithms, VR/AR and other technologies in the power and new energy industries. Since its construction in September 2019, the team has been entrusted with 5 horizontal scientific research projects, 1 industry-university cooperation project of the Ministry of Education, 1 characteristic innovation project (natural science) of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, published 5 SCI/EI search papers, authorized 2 invention patents, and guided students to win 5 provincial and above awards in science and technology competitions.
In recent years, Guangzhou City Institute of Technology has paid close attention to the construction of discipline teams, vigorously introduced outstanding talents, cultivated young talents, supported key projects, actively created a high-level scientific research platform for the majority of teachers, created a strong scientific research atmosphere, and laid a solid foundation for the college to declare vertical projects such as natural science/social science funds.
