In the upcoming Year of the Rat, The Peninsula Has curated a series of culinary experiences to celebrate the Chinese New Year with friends and family.

During the Spring Festival, Huangting Chinese Restaurant prepared an authentic welcome family banquet and reunion dinner. The Lobby Café serves a sumptuous festive Sunday brunch. The hotel has also prepared a variety of festive hampers and fantastic desserts to solve the trouble of choosing gifts for you. Jing Bar has created a special cocktail during this time, inviting you to enjoy a drink together to celebrate the Arrival of the Year of the Rat!

Getting together to enjoy festive meals and the whole family's health, happiness and prosperity for the year ahead is the most traditional way to celebrate the New Year. Mr. Leung Kin Man, Hong Kong Chef of Huang Ting Chinese Restaurant, and his team of chefs brought Cantonese classics to start the journey of Cantonese cuisine for guests. The sumptuous nine-course "Daifuku Daigo" Chinese New Year's Eve meal will delight diners with a range of seasonal specialties, including chicken soup with wild mushrooms, fried rice with lotus leaf abalone, and fried prawns with egg yolk puree and broccoli. Guests who book a private room to celebrate can also choose two customized menus "auspicious" and "ruyi", which are full of Chinese New Year blessings.

Chinese New Year's Eve meals will be served in the evening at Huangting Chinese Restaurant on 24 January 2020.

<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > the feast of spring and feel the breath of spring</h1>

On the occasion of spring, Mr. Liang Jianwen, the chef of Huangting Chinese Restaurant, has created a spring feast menu with traditional Cantonese cooking techniques and Chinese classic dishes to drive away the cold and welcome the arrival of spring. Seasonal vegetables are prepared with black truffles and peppers, fresh seafood, meat, etc., such as steamed tofu with XO sauce, braised prawns, black truffle crystal shrimp dumplings, orange stewed fresh milk, etc. The spring feast dishes are delicious and exquisite, which will make guests reminisce endlessly.

The Spring Banquet will be held from 1 March to 31 March 2020 at the Huang Ting Chinese Restaurant.

During the Spring Festival, it is the most suitable time of year to share joy and send blessings to your family. Throughout February, Chef Liang Jianwen of Huangting Chinese Restaurant used traditional Chinese techniques to create festive specialties and launched a new family gathering banquet to accompany you through the Spring Festival. Specialties include steamed sea bass, char siu Yangzhou fried rice, and fresh mango black pepper fried Australian beef fillet.

The Family Gathering Package is available all day from 1 February to 23 February 2020 at Huang Ting Chinese Restaurant.

<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > black truffles</h1>

Using black truffles from Yunnan, Jing Chef Julian and Pastry Chef Jacob have created a six-course menu, each inspired by regional Chinese cuisine. In January, guests will be tempted to enjoy this innovative new menu featuring Maine lobster with black truffle tomato sauce and Ossitra sturgeon roe, black truffle grilled Hokkaido scallops, green apples, celery and artichoke mousse. Black truffles, caramel hazelnuts and Caribbean chocolates taste great with Chinese wine.

The best menu is available at Jing Restaurant from 6 January to 2 February 2020.

A private bespoke wine dinner held during January is not to be missed. Chef Julian, Pastry Chef Jacob and Restaurant Manager Martin will join forces to present guests with a premier banquet experience. For 10 guests per booking, exclusive chef's table with a unique flavour, a selection of five-course dishes paired with Jing Cellar's treasured wines such as Maine lobster, mango and green apple and sea urchin with Lucien le Moine Bourgogne Blanc 2012 wine and duck pie, foie gras, black truffle red wine sauce with Stallion Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2009.

The Jing Wine Tasting Gala Dinner will be served on 18 January 2020.

Every Sunday from January to February, we prepare a variety of delicious dishes, warm appetizers, seasonal seafood and Chinese dishes, and a professional chef will present you with Peking duck on the spot. After the meal, the rich and diverse desserts are full of strong Spring Festival atmosphere.
