Xing Duan (邢端; pinyin: Xing Duan), courtesy name Xinting Yeshi (新亭野史), was born on August 6, 1883 in Guiyang, Guizhou. In 1901, he was a member of the Xin Ugly Sect, and in 1904 he was a member of the Kotatsu Branch.

Xing Duan grew up in the palm of Shan Zhi, specialized in calligraphy, gong kai, and xingshu. He is the author of "Travels in Huangshan Mountain", "Notes on the Visits to Qilu", "Biography of Yu Zhongyue", "Selected Titles of Qianrenguan", "Records of Reading the History of the North and South", "Continuation of the Wei Shu Sect's Room", "Diary of Mountain Travels", "Outline of Guizhou Fangzhi" and so on. When he was in the northern part of the Japanese empire, he was very virtuous, did not interact with enemies and hypocrites, and often gave poetry to Mingzhi. In 1960, his family divided his manuscript into three categories: poetry, literature, and travelogue, and combined it into one episode, which was titled "The Manuscript of the Jielu Series", and the line binding was published.
