Grandma's millet salty rice

Every time I see that yellow millet, I think of my grandmother, the kind, kind, amiable grandmother, the grandmother who has always been in my heart.

I remember returning to my mother's house in those years, and every time the first stop was to visit my grandparents first.

That time, I went to my grandmother's house and brought them a lot of favorite snacks and fruits as usual. Grandma was very happy to see me, and opened her treasure chest and gave me many, many snacks that she thought were delicious to taste.

Grandpa was not at home that day, went out to sit, there was a white matter in the village, Grandpa was an old accountant.

Grandma said,, we're going to have dinner today, and whatever you want to eat, I'll make it for you.

I tilted my head to enjoy my grandmother's favor, and said to my grandmother, "As long as you do it, I like everything."

Grandma looked at me with disgust, like a very shy little girl, with a hint of shyness, a hint of comfort, and a hint of pride in her smile.

Grandma said, "Then can I make millet salty rice twice?" I'm delicious! ”

I was embarrassed to bother my elderly grandmother to cook for me, but my mouth was overcame everything, and I followed my grandmother and watched my grandmother sit in the pot, add water, and put in the washed millet. Then start another pot, put the oil, stir-fry the diced meat that Grandma cut in advance, add the cabbage as thin as a hair, add some soy sauce, and consume the oil to enhance the taste. When the dish is evenly colored and fragrant, pour into the small rice.

Then simmer slowly over low heat, and after forty minutes, a pot of millet salty rice with full color and flavor is generated.

Grandma personally put a large bowl for me, and gave me a pair of chopsticks: "Eat it while it is hot, this salty rice is hot and it is comfortable to eat it!"

I picked up the bowl and swallowed it, and the nose was filled with the aroma of meat, rice, and vegetables. While eating, Grandma looked at me with a smile: "Don't worry, don't worry, there are still a lot of them in the pot!" Enough for you! ”

Now that I think about it, the saliva still can't stop filling my mouth.

It's been twelve years since Grandma left us, and I always remember her, the love, the table full of snacks, and the bowl of fragrant millet and salty rice.

Occasionally hungry, I also followed the steps of my grandmother that year, to make a bowl of millet salty rice, but I can no longer eat the taste of my grandmother, perhaps, my grandmother left, and the aroma of millet salted rice was also taken away...
