Speaking of the Writer Gao Yang (1922-1992, Figure I) in Taiwan, all the book lovers who love to read historical novels can be said to be known to everyone. In Taiwan more than ten or twenty years ago, as long as there were bookstores and as long as there were stalls with books, there were definitely new and old books written by Gao Yang selling. In a word: In Chinese circles, Gao Yang and Jin Yong are really the pride of Chinese writers.

Gao Yang's real name was Xu Yanbiao (pronounced "Yan Bing" ("Yan Biao" is pronounced the same as "Yan Bing"), the table character Yan Bing, a native of present-day Hangzhou. In today's parlance, from Gao Yang's uncle, the Xu family is the authentic "Moving Pen Family".

Several of Gao Yang's uncles were already extremely popular in the late Qing Dynasty, such as this Xu Gengshen (1825-1893, Figure 2). During the Xianfeng Dynasty, Xu Gengsheng participated in the compilation of the imperial court's "Xuanzong Cheng Emperor Benji", the Imperial Genealogy and the "Biography of the Ministers", and the Tongzhi Dynasty has been responsible for the compilation of various books in the Strategy Museum. The Spring and Autumn Dictionary that he presented was commended by the Tongzhi Emperor. After the rise of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement, he worked in the Military Aircraft Department, and during the term of office of the military aircraft Zhang Jing, he participated in the planning of the Qing court's military operations against the Taiping Army and the Twist Army, and compiled the "Strategy for Suppressing the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom". Afterwards, he also participated in the compilation of the book "Strategies for The Suppression of Guangdong Bandits in The Qing Dynasty" to sum up the experience for the Qing government. Later moved to The Shaoqing of Hongxu Temple, fang likson and general secretary, cabinet attendant, Jiangxi Xuezheng, etc.

Figure 3 is a shadow of Xu Geng's personally written diary (selected from the book "Five Kinds of Diaries of military ministers in the late Qing Dynasty"). During the Xianfeng period, Xu Gengsheng took the place of his colleagues on duty at the palace and signed more than two hundred documents in a row. When the Xianfeng Emperor saw his name, he felt strange and asked Xu Naipu, who was serving as a waiter at the time, only to learn that Xu Geng was Xu Naipu's nephew.

……

The years flies. Bucket to star shift. The "Moving Pen Family" has been passed down to Gao Yang's generation. Gao Yang's father died early and was brought up by his mother. In 1946, Gao Yang was admitted to the Hangzhou Jianqiao Air Force Officer School and was admitted as a civilian. In 1949, he went to Taiwan and showed his talent in military publications and literary and artistic activities. In 1953, Gao Yang's novels "Tiger and Rose" and "Fei Fei" were published.

In 1957, Gao Yang served as the secretary of Taiwan's "Chief of Staff of the Ministry of National Defense" Wang Shuming (1905-1998, Zhucheng, Shandong, Figure 4). From 1949 to the entire 1950s, Taiwan repeatedly sent American-made bombers to bomb coastal cities on the mainland, and the first leader of Taiwan's Air Force at that time, the "Air Force Commander", was Wang Shuming! It can be said that until the liberation of the mainland, Wang Shuming's hands were still stained with the blood of Chinese people.

Figure 5 This book, Sign Gao Yang's real name Xu Yanbiao, is relatively rare and is sold in Kong Net. Figure 6 is the shadow of a book signed by Gao Yang for a book friend.

Gao Yang moved his pen to be no less than his ancestors. Gao Yang's home prepared three desks, each desk to write a book, two books written at the same time without chaos, never write a taste. Another desk was dedicated to Gao Yang's daughter.

Hong Kong director Li Hanxiang (1926-1996, a native of Huludao, Liaoning, Picture 7), who has filmed "Burning the Yuanmingyuan" and "Hanging Curtains to Listen to the Government", is good friends with Gao Yang. In his opinion, Gao Yang, a great writer who has always been known for writing long stories of history in the Chinese world, must have a lot of books in his family. Who knew that when he came to Gao Yang's house to take a look, Gao's study was empty in four walls, and the most eye-catching decorations were not the books, antiques and four treasures of the literary room necessary for writers and literati, but also empty wine bottles, and whiskey and flower carvings (a shaoxing rice wine name, used for cooking in the north, used for drinking in the south).

Gao Yang was born for wine, but also died for wine. He neglected to manage money all his life, and most of his money allowed him to buy wine and meat until his death, and he was still in debt. Li Hanxiang plans to make Gao Yang's book "Jing Ke" into a multi-episode movie or TV series, and after the negotiation, the two drink, and Gao Yang is drunk as mud, lying on the bed snoring loudly. Li Hanxiang saw that the night was deep, took out all the banknotes in his pocket, stuffed them under the table, and returned home. However, unfortunately, Gao Yang has not yet written the book "JingKe" into a film and television script, that is, on June 6, 1992.

Gao Yang once recalled that when he was a child in Hangzhou, there were three plaques given by the emperor at the door of his home, and the huge plaque in the flower hall was written by Empress Dowager Cixi, all of which were written by the ancestors one by one.

The children who read the school entered the world through the examination and honored the ancestors, and all this was not easy to come by. Ten years of cold window hard reading, head hanging beam, cone thorn strands, eat bitterly, fang is a good person.

The good thing of dreaming of pie falling from the sky has never existed in ancient and modern times.

A good society will bring fame to the truly capable readers. Of course, it is normal to have a meritorious name and a lilu, otherwise wouldn't you starve to death?

A bad society must be bad money that drives out good money. Wasn't that what was the case in late Qing society? In the words of Zhang Ailing's grandfather, Zhang Peilun: a crab in the center is not as good as a crab...

Gao Yang's daughter Xu Yijin was born in 1974 and belongs to the tiger. After years of cultivation around her father, I don't know if she can write now or not. ......

There is a post posted by "Mi Xiaoshu" in the Kongwang community: "Has anyone seen the 92-volume hardcover edition of 73 kinds of Gao Yang's complete works published in Taiwan?" Among them, the 11th floor post reads: ..., because gao yang's daughter is not yet an adult and still needs education funds, it is decided to purchase all the money from gao yang's works as an education fund to help her complete her studies. ......

The above-mentioned "education funding" was a matter from 1991 to 1992. In 2013, the owner of Kong Net's post, "Mi Xiaoshu", was willing to pay 20,000 yuan to acquire this "purchased" "Gao Yang Works Collection".

I remember hou Baolin's cross-talk said: I hope that the painters will die early, and that the cross-talk can live a long life. Because as soon as the painter dies, the painting is worth money. Say the death of crosstalk, this night, who will say crosstalk?

If there really is the elixir of immortality that Qin Shi Huang pursued, painters, writers, cross-talkers, singing funny, and various craftsmen of the national level should be the first to eat.

When dividing the medicine, try to be as fair as possible.
