Therefore, emotion is crucial to the growth of a poet. However, the misfortune of the country has also stimulated the emotions of some benevolent people, and the most surging power has naturally flowed out, solidifying into a line of poetry that directly hits the softest heart of the people.
Like the Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu who experienced the shattering of mountains and rivers, "Feeling the flowers splashing tears when the time comes, hating the birds and being frightened", the modern poet Ai Qing saw the patriotic feelings expressed from the bottom of his heart when he saw the turmoil of the country, and the heart of the naked son of the fist overflowed with poems: "Why do I often have tears in my eyes?" For I love this land so much..."
Suffering out of the poet, this suffering, of course, contains the misfortune of the state, but the misfortune of the state seems a little too big. In peacetime now, how many people, who have experienced the misfortunes of the country, can't they still write beautiful and good poems?
For our own suffering and misfortune, we can still transform it into poetry, and we can still touch people's soft hearts. I believe that everyone has emotions, and putting emotions into the lines of poetry, to infect others, to resonate, is a really good poem, and skill is still secondary.
Like the Tang Dynasty poet MengJiao Dengke, who got rid of the cold eyes of others in the past and became full of spirits, "the spring wind is proud of the horseshoe disease, and the Chang'an flowers are seen in one day", the modern poet Haizi's hope for happiness "From tomorrow onwards, be a happy person... Facing the sea, spring blossoms"
There are many, many more examples like this, there are simply innumerable, and we are going to talk about the same one today: suffering, which created the soul of this poet and his legendary life: the modern poet Liu Dabai.
Early wisdom, rebelliousness, and difficult things. Renunciation, return to red dust. Teaching whiplash, getting sick, engaging in politics, writing books. He died in middle age and was lonely behind him. It is completely in line with the legendary life of a poet, most of which is caused by suffering.
<h1>Study, teach, and engage in politics</h1>
Liu Dabai was born in Pingshui Village, Huiji County (now Shaoxing), Zhejiang Province, a hometown with beautiful mountains and rivers. Since childhood, I like to read, and my thirst for knowledge is not endless, which belongs to the kind of person who breaks the casserole and asks the end. Older, he rushed to Hangzhou to take the exam and got a yougongsheng, which was the first time he left his hometown.
After Liu Dabai became an adult, with his rich knowledge and culture, he served as a teacher at Shaoxing Normal School and Shanhui Primary School, cultivating students, discovering talents, and laying the necessary foundation for future education.
After a few years, he ended his mundane life as a teacher in his hometown and decided to go to Beijing to seek a job, but in the end he failed and was forced to leave Beijing by boat and return from the sea route.
In 1913, Liu Dabai crossed east to Japan and joined the League. In 1915, he published an article opposing the traitorous Article 21, but was suppressed by the Japanese side and had to leave Tokyo and go to Nanyang. He has been to Singapore, Sumatra and other places, and hired professors of Chinese at overseas Chinese schools.
It was not until 1916, after Yuan Shikai claimed that the emperor had failed and died, that the domestic situation improved slightly, and Liu Dabai returned to China, settled in Hangzhou, and made a living in the Hangzhou Daily.
During this period, Liu Dabai and Jing Hengyi, then president of the Zhejiang Education Association, founded the "Youth League", which was similar to our current website, which was called "Society" at that time, which was to unite the benevolent people in this area, publicize the progressive ideas of the time, and save the people's dry ideas from water and fire.
Liu Dabai's life in professional politics, under various coincidences of chance, can be said to be in line with a kind of growth process of the insightful youth of that era: he liked to read and study→ and in the examination, he → to be a teacher→ resigned and changed jobs→ found a job and hit a wall→ stayed in the foreign → returned to China to work→ and gave his own meager strength to the society.
In his later poem "The Night of the Autumn River", he looked back on his experiences in the early years and felt it, writing:
From this poem, it can be seen that Liu Dabai, who is wandering outside and has nothing to rely on, misses his hometown all the time, but when he really reaches his hometown, he finds that he has become so old. It expresses the helpless emotion that time is fleeting and things are not human.
<h1>Emotions, marriage, poetry</h1>
The love of the poet, which is ironclad and different from others, there is no doubt about this. Since the ancient poet is romantic and sentimental, this can be understood as concentration, such as writing "once the sea was shipwrecked as water, except for the Wushan mountain is not a cloud" Yuan Shu, hey, give a counterexample, but the poems he wrote are indeed good poems, meaning that meaning.
Liu Dabai's love is quite legendary, I don't know if it is passed down like this, or it is the way it is, let's ignore those, no wind and no waves.
He Fuxia is the heroine in Liu Dabai's love story. That year, she participated in a women's poetry meeting, and finally won the first place, and the judge of this poetry meeting was Liu Dabai, who was deeply impressed by her talent and beauty.
And He Fuxia said that she also likes to read newspapers, especially Liu Dabai's poetry. The two can be said to agree and agree, and they are together. Not long after they were together, they published marriage notices in the newspaper without their parents, and entered the sacred and solemn hall of marriage.
The year they married was October 1912, when Liu Dabai was 33 years old and He Fuxia was 19 years old. Whoever says that age is an obstacle to love and marriage is just not loving deeply enough.
He Fuxia bore Liu Dabai a son and three daughters. In 1924, He Fuxia got along with a teacher who gave her a make-up lesson, and this teacher was still Liu Dabai's student. After Liu Dabai knew the truth of the matter, not only did he not get angry and complain, but he also kept it to death, and wrote such an affectionate poem:

On May 2, 1923, the year before he found out that his wife was getting along with his students, he wrote this famous poem in the history of modern Chinese poetry, "Postal Kiss", while teaching himself.
On the Internet, there is no detailed explanation of the situation in which this famous "Postal Kiss" was created by Liu Dabai, I guess: it was because of various circumstances that his wife and I could not distinguish from each other, extremely missed, through the exchange of mail letters to produce emotions, thus revealing this modern poem.

The first section is the process of writing and opening letters. The poet uses two double negatives of "not impossible" to emphasize "tearing" and "cutting", indicating that it is possible, but the poet still chooses "slowly" and "gently", and carefully picks up the lips of the letter.

Liu Dabai (1880-1932), who began writing poetry in the vernacular before the May Fourth Movement, was an advocate of new poetry and one of the poets who tried to represent them.
His major works include the new poetry collection "Old Dream" (later re-edited as "Ding Ning", "Reconstruction", "Autumn Tears", "Selling Cloth Ballads" 4 collections), "Postal Kiss", the old poetry collection "White House Testament Poems", the poems "White House Says Poetry", "Old Poems and New Words", and "History of Chinese Literature". In 1958, the People's Literature Publishing House published Selected Poems of Liu Dabai.
Liu Dabai can be said to have dedicated his life to the development of modern Chinese poetry, his poetry has strong feelings, bright and powerful language, easy to understand, and combined with the current social and humanistic thought, it has the role of enlightenment thought, and is unique in the poetry circle of the May Fourth period.
On December 15, 1929, Liu Dabai resigned as executive secretary of the Ministry of Education. In 1931, Liu Dabai wrote behind closed doors. On February 3, 1932, Liu Dabai lay quietly on the bed at No. 9 Qiantang Road in Hangzhou and died at the age of 52.
Liu Dabai can be said to have experienced all kinds of hardships all his life, born in a bad age, forced to go to Nanyang, it was difficult to establish a new society, it was difficult to promote the new poetry propaganda campaign, and it was difficult to carry out the campaign under the unclear situation in the country, and the marriage was unfortunate.
Although Liu Dabai has experienced so much suffering, his faith as a poet has never wavered, and he has bravely moved forward in the storm. It can also be said that suffering created this poetic soul and his legendary life!
