The elm tree is located in the northeast direction of the tombstone building of the divine doctor Huatuo, and the elm branch points directly to the Shizhai Village opposite the canal, just like the protection and calling of the divine doctor, some people call it the strange tree.
In his lifetime, the divine doctor Hua Tuo was well versed in folk suffering, did not seek fame, did not seek profit, was not afraid of officials, saved lives and helped the injured with superb medical skills, and crossed the world with noble medical virtue, he made great contributions to the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese medicine in internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, as well as acupuncture therapy, exercise therapy, diet therapy and other aspects!
People all over the country have a long-standing folk belief in the divine doctor Hua Tuo; near the Sacred Doctor Hua Tuo Cemetery in Xuchang, local villagers, both men, women and children, have a special respect for the divine doctor Hua Tuo.
Zhou Yumei, an 89-year-old villager in Shizhai Village, Suqiao Town, Jian'an District, Xuchang City, was an 89-year-old villager who volunteered to guard the cemetery of the god doctor Hua Tuo for ten years from 1994 to 2004. According to her recollection, Qi Zidong (1915-1995), a villager in Shizhai Village, at the age of fifty, had unbearable leg pain and went around seeking medical treatment ineffectively, and then because of his faith in the divine doctor Hua Tuo, sincerity, coupled with reasonable exercise, the leg disease was slowly getting better.
Since the 1970s, Qi Zidong has been carrying an iron shovel and holding a broom every morning, and no matter how cold or hot it is, he has been volunteering to clean the cemetery of the divine doctor Huatuo for twenty years.
According to Zhou Yumei's recollection, on the night of November 15, 1978, heavy snow flew, and on the morning of the sixteenth, Qi Zidong found that the tomb of the divine doctor Hua Tuo was stolen, because the depth of the cave dug by the tomb robbers was about 1.1 meters - 1.2 meters, it was estimated that they would not dig anything, and he used an iron shovel to backfill the grave soil.

From the 16th to the 23rd day of the first month of 1979, there was heavy snowfall, it was on the morning of the 23rd, the snow stopped, Qi Zidong found that the tomb of the divine doctor Hua Tuo was stolen and excavated, when Zhou Yumei passed by the tomb of the divine doctor Hua Tuo, he saw the two ribs and a calf bone dug out by the tomb robbers, and they were immediately sad and tearful, and they were very sad! Zhou Yumei saw Qi Xikui, a villager in this village, and called him to the tomb of the divine doctor Hua Tuo.
Born in 1949 and now 71 years old, Qi Xikui recalled the three bones dug out at that time:
The two ribs are about 22-24 cm long, and the calf bone (tibia) is about 43-45 cm long. These bones, the color of white yellow, slightly red silk, the most peculiar thing is that the surface of these three bones is smooth and delicate, the texture is hard, in zhou Yumei's words like jade!
According to the length of the calf bone, it can be inferred that this person is not low in height, and the height is at least about 1.75-1.80 meters. In addition, the tomb robbers also dug out some Han bricks, which are about 40 centimeters in length, about 20 centimeters in width, and about 4.5 centimeters in thickness, and there are various ornaments on the front of the Han bricks.

This time, the tomb robbers were excavated from 60-70 centimeters north of the tombstone building of the divine doctor Hua Tuo, the depth of the cave was about two meters, the diameter of the cave was about one meter, and the deep layer of the cemetery was full of golden yellow fine clay, and the tomb robbers discarded the excavated bones and bricks one meter west of the robbery cave.
According to Uncle Xi Kui's recollection, at that time, Qi Zidong was kneeling in tears at the tomb of the divine doctor Huatuo, he reverently held the bones of the divine doctor Huatuo with both hands, carefully followed the soil layer on the edge of the robbery cave, and gently slid the ribs and leg bones of the divine doctor Huatuo into the tomb one by one, and later he backfilled the grave soil and bricks with an iron shovel.
After sealing the land, the unthinkable thing happened, the sky was dark, and at this time, the sun in the sky suddenly drilled out a thick cloud layer, shining warmly on this ancient and mysterious Han and Wei land! Settle in the ground and know that this is an unforgettable moment!
On May 19, 2019 (the fifteenth day of the fourth lunar month), I went to the Fifth People's Hospital of Xuchang City to visit Qi Xishen, secretary of the party branch of Yuanshizhai Village, who was recovering from the hospital, and Secretary Qi was a veteran party member who had been serving as the secretary of the party branch in Shizhai Village from 1978 to 2004.
According to Secretary Qi Xishen's recollection, on the night of the twenty-eighth day of the 1979 month, the whistling northeast wind blew all night, huatuo's tomb was stolen and excavated, on the twenty-ninth day of the new year, the wind still did not stop, every household was busy with the New Year, Secretary Qi came to the scene and found four ribs, the length of which was about 24-25 centimeters.

This time, the tomb robbers started from a meter north of the Huatuo Tombstone Building, dug a hole about 60 centimeters long and about 50 centimeters wide, the depth was about 1.70-1.80 meters, and the bottom layer was all green mud (a mixture of silt and silt), And Secretary Qi alone first put the ribs into the tomb, and then used an iron shovel to backfill all the excavated grave soil.
Later, the villagers all said that the twenty-ninth year of the new year, and if the divine doctor Hua Tuoye was not allowed to have a stable year, these tomb robbers would definitely have retribution! In addition to the resentment, everyone thinks about it, maybe the tomb robbers have also unveiled a mystery for us through the ages--the divine doctor Hua Tuo really has his own person! The divine doctor Hua Tuo is indeed buried in the current Shenyi Huatuo Cemetery in Shizhai Village, Suqiao Town, Jian'an District, Xuchang City, and this is the real Tomb of the Divine Doctor Hua Tuo!
