A murder that costs banker Andy (Tim Robbins) unjustly imprisons him, and the charge of murdering his wife and her lover will imprison him for life. His first appearance at Shawshank Prison makes prison "Big Brother" Red (Morgan Freeman) look at him differently. Red helped him get a stone hammer and a poster of a female star, and the two gradually became friends. Soon, Andy showed his talents in the prison, acting as a prison librarian, and using his financial knowledge to help the prison officer avoid taxes, which attracted the attention of the warden and was recruited to help the warden launder money. When I first heard the title "The Shawshank Redemption," I thought Shawshank was a personal name. In fact, Shawshank is not one of the two male protagonists in this film, it is a place name, that is, "Shark Castle Prison". This prison is a purgatory on earth, not only because of the cruelty of its jailers and the rampant bullying of prison bullies, but also because of its erosion of the human spirit. Spending life in that long and indefinite confinement seems to survive only if you give up hope and become a walking dead. The Shawshank Redemption is a film that celebrates freedom. There is a passage in the film, after the release of an old administrator who has spent most of his life in prison, because many years of prison life have institutionalized him, he suddenly loses the confidence to survive in the face of a free life, commits suicide in the room, and the film gives us a paradox. When freedom suddenly comes, it may have lost its glory, because without the support of life, without the endowment of the meaning of existence, freedom is just another prison for you.

From this point of view, Andy is actually happy. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why a movie can resonate with so many people. After all, with love, the world is beautiful. Many times, the sense of accomplishment depends on our hearts. Shawshank's redemption, redemption is the soul, when we look at our work again, if we all have the spirit of Andy, we can cherish every day at work, every moment in life, cherish every day with children, let children have a healthy and happy childhood because they meet you.
