Anhui Province has a number of counties and cities bordering Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province, such as Chuzhou Quanjiao County, Ma'anshan City and counties are relatively close to nanjing downtown. In the south of Nanjing, there is also an Anhui county bordering it, which is Langxi County in Xuancheng.
Langxi County and Nanjing Gaochun District border, in addition to Changzhou Liyang City (county-level city) adjacent, Nanjing and Changzhou are economically developed cities, so Langxi County is very advantageous location. Langxi County is conveniently located in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta, adjacent to the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, within two hours to reach Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Suzhou, Wuxi and other most developed cities in the Yangtze River Delta, about 40 minutes drive from Nanjing Lukou Airport. The Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway, national highway, Yangji Expressway and the Shanghe-Hangzhou high-speed railway under construction pass through the border.
This is a land of abundant products, mild climate, fertile soil, is an important production area of grain and oil, silkworm cocoons in Anhui Province, a national commodity grain base county, known as "the hometown of fish and rice", "natural botanical garden" reputation. Langxi County has many specialties, such as green tea, rice wine, golden dates, stuffy sauce, geese, silver fish, green shrimp, crabs, turtles and so on.
This is also a land of beautiful scenery, the territory of hills one after another, rivers and lakes dotted with dots, green mountains and rivers shine together, rich tourism resources, was rated as a "leisure town".
Langxi County has a number of tourist attractions such as the 4A tourist scenic spot Guan tianxia and the Yashan Ancient Road, as well as the 3A scenic spot Gunanfeng Huipai Yellow Wine Cultural Park, Nanyi Lake Fushou Island, Tianmu Lake Wuyuan Mountain, provincial forest park Gaojing Temple, Longsu Lake Scenic Area and so on.
Guantianxia Scenic Area was rated as a 4A scenic spot in 2015, located about 35 kilometers south of the county seat, this place is the remnant of Huangshan Mountain, the mountain is steep, characterized by religious culture, lake light and mountain color, represented by Shifoshan, Tianzi Lake and Hongqi Lake.
