Russian experts: Russian satellites have found visions of light bursts in the earth's atmosphere, and the nature is unknown

According to the Russian Satellite News Agency reported on the 11th, Mikhail Panasschuk, director of the Institute of Nuclear Physics Sciences of Moscow State University in Russia, said that the Russian "Lomonosov" satellite, which entered orbit in 2016, used ultraviolet telescopes to find a strong light burst in the Earth's atmosphere, and the nature is temporarily unknown.

Panasschuk revealed, "With the help of telescopes we have achieved remarkable results beyond expectations, and it seems that new physical phenomena have been discovered by accident." We don't yet know what the physical properties of this phenomenon are. ”

He said, "When the Lomonosov flew at an altitude of tens of kilometers, we recorded a powerful light explosion several times, but the airspace was clear, there was no cloud, no thunder. ”

He explained that the entire atmosphere of the Earth is illuminated by UV ray splashes. Some splashes are already known to scholars, including the "Red Elf Lightning" (medium atmosphere, thermostatic discharge) and the "Naughty Elf Lightning" (some large weak light flares on the surface of the thundercloud).
