NBC polled 1,000 U.S. adults on Oct. 23-26. The survey results show biden's latest approval rating was 42 percent, down from 49 percent in August and 53 percent in April. More than half of respondents said they disapproved of Biden's job performance, up 6 percent from August's figures.

The report also said that 71% of respondents believe that the United States is in the wrong direction under the Biden administration, and in terms of political parties, 93% of Republican respondents and 70% of independent respondents agree with this view, while "although Biden's polls in the Democratic Party are generally much better", 48% of Democratic respondents still said that the United States is moving in the wrong direction. RT also said polls show that only 22 percent of respondents believe the U.S. is moving in the right direction.

RT also said the poll's results showed Biden unpopular, giving his critics good reason to bash the president's agenda, while many respondents said the NBC poll and its 70 percent "no-percentage" could be one of the worst polls about Biden so far.

According to survey data, respondents are more divided about which party should control Congress after the 2022 midterm elections (47 percent and 45 percent support Democratic and Republican, respectively), and more than half of respondents believe the best years in the United States are over.

In addition, a poll conducted by the American Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) showed that Biden's overall approval rating was only 45%, and 49% of respondents said they did not support Biden.

RT said Biden's approval rating declined as the Biden administration dealt with many issues. These include record numbers of immigrants along the U.S. border, COVID-19 and controversial vaccine regulations, and supply chains that disrupt multiple industries.

According to a poll released by Gallup Consulting on October 22, Biden's approval rating in the first quarter of his presidency was 56 percent and his support rate in the third quarter was 44.7 percent, down 11.3 percentage points, the highest decline among U.S. presidents since the end of World War II.
