One of the world's top five distilled spirits – wine knowledge

Our country's liquor (including Russia's Odeke), as well as whiskey, brandy, raum and gin, is known as the world's top five distilled spirits.

Whisky: Mainly produced in European countries, of which the United Kingdom has the largest production and the best quality. Scotch whisky in the UK is the world's first-class, using barley, rye and corn as raw materials, fermented with malt liquid, and distilled with a pot still. The malt it uses is dried with peat, and the water used is also drawn from the peat layer, with the characteristic aroma of peat. The degree of whisky in various countries is generally 42 to 43 degrees. China's Beijing, Qingdao also have production, but the output is not large.

Brandy: Brandy is a transliteration of the English language and is a distilled wine made from grapes or other fruits. The largest production is now in France. The grapes produced in brandy are specially selected, with low sugar and high acidity, making brandy very fresh. The best brandy in french tradition is named after the "coya". There are now about thirty countries in the world that produce brandy. China's Yantai, Beijing also have production, the quality is better, but the output is not large. Brandy ranges from thirty-eight to forty-three degrees.

Rum: "Rum" is a transliteration of RUM, but also translated as "Lamb" or "Luomu". This wine is very popular in Europe and the United States, it is made of sugarcane juice or sugar squeezed by-product - sugarcane waste honey as raw material, fermented and distilled. When sugarcane juice or sugarcane waste honey is fermented, butyric acid bacteria are added, which are mixed with yeast for fermentation, producing a unique aroma and pleasant smell. China's sugarcane waste honey resources are abundant, and there are enterprises in Guangdong Province that produce Rum wine with high quality. The production experience is mature, and there is great potential for vigorously developing production. The wine has a wine intensity of 41 to 43 degrees.

Gin: Also known as gin, it is a pine tree (juniper) seed soaked in drinking alcohol, and then distilled, the liquor has a pleasant pine seed aroma. However, this wine is rarely drunk alone, and is generally used to mix cocktails abroad. There is also gin production in China, but the output is small. The wine is generally 40 to 42 degrees.

Baijiu: Baijiu is a specialty of Our country, and I will not go into detail here. Odeke, which belongs to the liquor category, is made of refined edible alcohol, distilled water or edible water to a certain degree, and then deodorized and removed. The wine quality is relatively pure, and the wine degree varies from thirty-eight degrees to fifty degrees.
