There are many people who have Plato's ideals, such as the English politician and philosopher Thomas More, who published a book called "Utopia" in 1516, the Italian theologian Tommaso Campanella wrote "Sun City" in 1602, and the English writer William Morris wrote "The Message of Utopia" in 1890, all of which described the utopian world they imagined.
Is there one in China? Yes, who? Kang Youwei. In addition to being a politician, he was also a thinker, and he wrote a book called the Datong Book. This ambition is the same as confucius, because Kang Fuzi was also a Confucian figure. He portrayed the world of Datong very concretely, with four main characteristics.
First, he believes that it is necessary to abolish the state, to bring about a great union of nations, to turn the whole world into a great federation, so that there will be no violence, because once there is a state, there will be conflicts, there will be wars and wars, so there will be great alliances. He even childishly pushed for China and Japan and The State.
Second, he believed that all races must evolve into whites, blacks with "iron-faced silver teeth, slanted jaws like pigs, and direct eyes like cattle... "Those whose temperament is too evil, whose appearance is too evil, or who have a disease, the healer drinks the medicine of the heirs to extinguish his species." It took too long for blacks to evolve into whites, and it wasn't enough for a thousand years. Chemical castration is performed.
Third, he believes that children are born to break off relations with their parents, and that constant disconnection is not enough to completely destroy the family. The family is the source of private thoughts, the root of private ideas is in the hearts of children, children and parents are separated, do not know each other, no one cares about anyone, everyone is dedicated to the public, there is no selfish distraction.
Fourth, Kang Youwei's view is very similar to Plato's, believing that if private property is to be expropriated, there will be selfishness. What's more interesting is that he also suggested that both men and women should shave all the hairs on their bodies, leaving only the nose hairs. He believes that the other hairs are not well evolved and have not yet left the animal state.
To this day, from Plato's Ideal State to Utopia to the Book of Datong, people still have fantasies about utopia, which is a kind of psychedelic that people escape from reality, and if this illusion cannot be eradicated, there may be tragedies.
As a secular species, man cannot be pure and spotless, and all people cannot be uniform, and it is impossible to unify thoughts, words and deeds, behaviors, and wills. Absolute equality in the economy, everyone toils and complains, only gives and does not take, completely obeys the interests of the organization and the collective, such a person can exist individually, can be selfless, but it is unrealistic to ask a species to do so. Therefore, from the republic to the utopia, it is a pathological manifestation of human beings, a disease of escapism.
