——Remembering the "top card" of Dian opera Wang Yuzhen
In order to eat enough, Wang Yuzhen entered an art school at the age of 11. Before the age of 11, Wang Yuzhen spent a lot of time on the back of her father, who was a Fan of Dian Opera, and since she was 4 years old, she had been carrying her back to see the theater every day.
Wang Yuzhen, born in 1946 in Dachang Village, Kunming City, is a member of the Communist Party of China, the first actor in Yunnan Province to win this honor, and one of the most popular and leading figures on the Stage of Dian Opera in the 70s and 80s of the last century.
In order to eat enough, Wang Yuzhen entered an art school at the age of 11. Before the age of 11, Wang Yuzhen spent a lot of time on the back of her father, who was a Fan of Dian Opera, and since she was 4 years old, she had been carrying her back to see the theater every day. On the way home from the play, her father would often pat her little shoulder and say: When you grow up, you will have to play Su Yun makeup! His father said so, but because of the family's poverty, Wang Yuzhen had more extravagant hopes that she would only be able to eat a full meal.
At the age of 11, the Yunnan Cultural and Art Cadre School (later the Yunnan Provincial Drama School) recruited students of Dian Opera Lantern, "At that time, I didn't know what Dian Opera was, and it wouldn't be too difficult to think that Dian Opera wasn't just a upside-down singing." Xiao Yuzhen and five classmates went to register, and she was admitted. At that time, the Yunnan Cultural and Art Cadre School was wrapped up in food and housing, and Wang Yuzhen felt that she had never been so happy, she could not only eat enough, but also reduce the burden on her family.
Wang Yuzhen was determined to practice a good kung fu and a good voice like Huang Peng. In order to practice leg exercises, she slept at night, tied her legs to the head of the bed, and tied them until dawn; to practice waist exercises, she tied herself to a tree; for practicing her voice, she got up at dawn to hang her throat. Others practiced three times, and she doubled down six times.
In 1981, Wang Yuzhen, who had been working in the Yunnan Dian Opera Troupe for many years, finally got her wish and prayed under Guan Sushuang's door. Under the guidance of a generation of Peking Opera masters, Wang Yuzhen, who is also a Daomadan opera road, not only integrated the costumes of Peking Opera into Dian opera, but also integrated Guan Sushuang's original "relying on the flag to fight hands" into it, forming his own opera style. She has repeatedly won the first prize in national drama competitions.
In May 1991, at the age of 45, in two months, Wang Yuzhen would no longer have the opportunity to participate in the Plum Blossom Award. She plucked up her courage, decided to compete, and gave it one last attempt. In order to better display her talents in all aspects, Wang Yuzhen prepared 3 self-created Dian operas with both culture and martial arts: "Jing Niang Sends Brother", "Empress Yun Makeup", and "Mulberry Leaf Fenggong". No one could have imagined that a 45-year-old woman, jumping and moving on the stage, as light as a swallow, did not reduce the health of the year; the singing voice was beautiful, the words were round, and the golden voice was full of shocks. In the end, Wang Yuzhen conquered all the audience and judges with excellent skills, won back the Plum Blossom Award with the first place result, and achieved a breakthrough of zero in the Yunnan Plum Blossom Award.
