From October 24 to 27, Zhang Weixing, member of the Party Group and vice chairman of the China Disabled Persons' Federation, and his party went to Sanming City and Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, to guide and promote the "I do practical things for the masses" practical activities organized by the Disabled Persons' Federation to study and educate on party history and to investigate the rehabilitation of the disabled.
The research team successively went to the XiaMao Town Branch of Shaxian District General Hospital of Sanming City, Yubang Village of Xiamao Town, shaxian District Disabled Persons' Federation Comprehensive Service Hall, Sanyuan District Baisha Street Group 2 Community and Fuxingbao Street Fuwen Community, Fuzhou City Gulou District South Street Street Yangqiao Henan Community to understand the signing of family doctors for the disabled, the rehabilitation and assistance of disabled children, the rehabilitation of disabled people and the services of assistive devices; on-site visits to Sanming Jujingze Hui Disabled Service Center and Comprehensive Service Center for the Disabled. Fujian Provincial State-owned Rehabilitation Medical Technology Co., Ltd., Kangyu Intelligent Children's Rehabilitation Center, Fujian Provincial Assistive Devices Center for the Disabled and Rehabilitation Education Center, to understand the development of the government's purchase of rehabilitation services for the disabled, assistive devices for the disabled and rehabilitation service institutions for disabled children; to visit and comfort the disabled from families with economic difficulties and disabled children who are receiving rehabilitation training, and to encourage them to strengthen their confidence, persist in training, and strive for early recovery.
The research team fully affirmed the achievements made in the work of disabled persons in Fujian Province, Fuzhou City and Sanming City. It was emphasized that local disabled persons' federations at all levels should adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, deeply study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the cause of the disabled, fully implement the spirit of the Sixth National Work Conference on the Cause of the Disabled, strengthen the top-level design, do a good job in the preparation of the "14th Five-Year Plan" for the protection and development of the disabled, and promote the high-quality development of the cause of the disabled. It is necessary to attach great importance to the rehabilitation of the disabled, highlight the goal-oriented, high-quality themes, the health needs of the disabled and the threshold forward, further guarantee the basic rehabilitation service needs of the disabled, enhance the professional rehabilitation service capacity, improve the health level of the disabled, strengthen the prevention of disability, strive to achieve the goal of "rehabilitation services for all" for the disabled, and continuously meet the disabled people's yearning for a better life. It is necessary to thoroughly promote the practice of "I do practical things for the masses" in the study and education of party history, and make efforts to promote the solution of the problem of "urgency, difficulty, and anxiety" of the disabled, so that more disabled people can personally feel the effect of the practical activities. It is necessary to continue to promote the comprehensive and strict management of the party to develop in depth, strengthen the construction of the cadre team of the disabled persons' federation system, and provide a strong political and organizational guarantee for the healthy development of the cause of the disabled.
