The American legend commentary diving competition praises Stingmao: she is performing, not in the game

In the women's three-meter board final of the Tokyo Olympic Games that ended today, China's Shi Tingmao finally won the Olympic championship with a super high score of 383.50.

The game was broadcast on U.S. television station NBC, and the commentator was Cynthia Potter, an Olympic diving legend in the United States, who said in her commentary that Stingmao was not playing at all, but performing.

She calls Shi Tingmao a "performer" and other athletes "competitors" on the show. Some American netizens believe that Cynthia's separate title is disrespectful to other players.

Cynthia Porter represented the U.S. diving team for three Olympic Games and won the bronze medal in the women's three-meter board event at the 1976 Montreal Olympics, and after retiring, she actively transformed into diving project commentary, which has become the most well-known diving commentator in the United States.
