Why can't yellow tea catch fire?

As one of the six major tea categories, yellow tea rarely enters people's lives, except for a small number of people and the public in tea-producing areas, it has not been promoted.

The history of yellow tea production is actually quite long, as early as the Tang Dynasty, Sichuan's Junshan silver needle became a tribute tea. When Ming Dynasty writers continued to write the Tea Classic of Tea Saint Lu Yu, there was a supplement to the "Yellow Feathers of Yuezhou". According to legend, when Li Siyuan (Emperor Mingzong), the second emperor of the Later Tang Dynasty, first ascended to the throne, the attendants made tea for him, and when boiling water was poured into the cup, a white mist rose and a white crane slowly appeared. The white crane nodded to Mingzong three times and flew away, and when he looked at the cup, the tea leaves hung neatly up, like a group of spring shoots that broke through the earth, and then fell like snowflakes. Emperor Mingzong asked the attendant why. The attendant replied, "This is because of the white crane spring water of Junshan Mountain, soaked in yellow feathers." As soon as Emperor Mingzong was happy, he set the Junshan silver needle as a tribute tea.

There are two main kinds of yellow tea, one is the relationship between tea varieties, the tea leaves are yellow; the other is sullen yellow during post-processing. It is characterized by yellow leaf yellow soup, which is a slightly fermented tea.

Yellow tea has not been promoted in large quantities, and a big reason is that so far it has not found the unique ingredients it contains, which is not good for hype. For example, theaflavin in black tea has anti-oxidation, anti-cancer and anti-cancer effects, although theaflavin is very easy to oxidize and is not easy to extract, but this does not prevent it from being promoted as black tea or is a hype point.

Yellow tea is difficult to convince without this strong support point. The content of other ingredients and other types of tea does not have an advantage, such as the content of theanine is not as much as white tea and green tea, and the content of tea polyphenols is not as much as that of black tea, so it is more embarrassing, which may be the reason why it may not be up.
