In Longhui, Wei Jiayuan can be said to be well known to everyone, and the scenery of "lions and elephants taking water outlets, gold plates shoveling dragon gates" and the humanities of "Wenwu and Wei" are destined for her splendor. This Fang Ling Mountain and Beautiful Water gave birth to Wei Yuan's "Atlas of the Sea Country", an ideological giant who influenced China's modern history and even the world pattern, and cultivated an important historical figure in the political, military, and diplomatic history of the late Qing Dynasty, such as The Governors of Shaanxi and Gansu, Yunnan-Guizhou, Liangjiang, Fujian and Zhejiang, and the Minister of Nanyang, and the Minister of Salt Administration and Prime Minister of State Affairs, Wei Guangtao (known locally as Wei Wuzhuang).

Zhao surname first came to Wei Jiayuan, saw the lion elephant shoveling the water mouth, the golden plate shoveling the dragon gate of the mountain-shaped terrain, did not know where the river went, worried about being flooded, so he turned over the Dongshan Seal and chose Zhao Jia'an. The Surname Wei has a unique insight and chooses the Feng Shui treasure land of Wei Jiayuan. Since then, the Wei family has pioneered and multiplied on this land, cultivating and reading heirlooms, so that future generations of talents have risen and their literary style has been vibrant.
In the past, people's evaluation of Simenmen was: "The top of the Wei family section, the ticket in front of the Simen, the shelf of Sun Jia'an, and the stick of the stone bridge shop." The Weijia duan, Sun Jia'an, and Shiqiaopu mentioned here are all the names of the villages in the area of Simenmen Town, which proves from the overall screening that Yidu Simenmen has been the political, economic and cultural center in the north of Baoqing Province in history. Its "top of the Wei family section" mainly refers to the presence of "Wenwu Erwei" Wei Yuan and Wei Guangtao; "Sun Jia'an's shelf" means that the shelf of Sun Jia'an's family is well-written and is quite famous in the surrounding area; "Shiqiao Pu Stick" is that the teaching stick here is the most majestic, and the first academy, the first high school, and the first righteous school in the county were founded here. As for the "Simen gate ticket", it is mainly said that the area is economically active, and there are still some relics of Shiziao Street and Shiqiao Street, which used to be very prosperous and distinctive in the commercial and weaving and dyeing industries.
Wei Jia Duan is located at the foot of Baima Mountain, Baima Mountain is a tea immortal mountain, the two Wei have dealt with tea since childhood, Wei Yuan "contains tai chi in the cup, pregnant Qiankun in the abdomen", to a generation of thinkers; Wei Guangtao "How can the big city turn into a small city without turning?" Ask a "General Wuwei." Wei Yuan used a cup of tea to think out of "the more ancient the ancients are exhausted, the more convenient the people are", and used a cup of tea to think out "Shiyi long skills to control Yi", "Those who are good at mastering the four Yi can control the four Yi; The open-mindedness of those who are not good at teaching foreign yi and controlling them has affected the whole world. Wei Guangtao wrote down seven sentences with a cup of tea kung fu: "The Oriental clown commits niuzhuang, and the soldiers scramble to dye the gang with blood." The cannon spear is not afraid, and the jackal must be slaughtered with the sword."
After liberation, the people here gave full play to the traditional advantages of growing tea to make tea, opened up nearly 10,000 acres of new tea gardens on the hillside, built 3 township tea processing plants, Longhui County Agricultural Bureau Ouyang Zhenglu, Luo Jiaodi, Xie Nengxiang, Jinshiqiao Commune Yi Zuqiang, county foreign trade company Huang Zhongqi, county supply and marketing cooperative Zou Zuhua and other initiations, in this ant boundary built a county tea tree breeding test field, the introduction of 26 fine seeds, becoming the city's second tea plant breeding farm with the most varieties of resources. The "Yidu Yunfeng" green tea developed with the raw materials here was awarded the title of Famous Tea of Hunan Province in 1991. Xinglong Tea Factory was the first to introduce L.T.P+C.T.C new process equipment for red crushed tea, and the "922101" batch mark tea developed by the company won the eleventh place in the fourth set of red crushed tea at the National Symposium on Improving the Quality of Red Crushed Tea held in Wuhan in 1979.
Entering the 21st century, the tea industry here has been greatly developed, in 2015, the establishment of Longhui Yidu Yunfeng Selenium-rich Tea Co., Ltd., but also made the development of the tea industry here into the fast lane, the company is the only black tea, green tea automatic production line owner in the city, is the municipal agricultural industrialization leading enterprise, in accordance with the "master's skill, make good tea" concept, the production of Weiyuan black tea, Weiyuan green tea, Weiyuan bricks have become the market's sought-after goods. Under its leadership, the town's development of the tea industry to help alleviate poverty, focus on rural revitalization of the momentum is sufficient, by the end of 2019, the town has a tea garden area of more than 20,000 acres, accounting for about two-thirds of the county, there are a capital, North Courtyard, Tongfa, Jishan, Ant Boundary and other 5 processing enterprises, with an annual output of about 200 tons of tea; there is a Longhui County Fine Seed Tea Breeding Cooperative, with an annual tea nursery of 600,000 plants, which is one of the townships where tea is currently concentrated in Shaoyang City.
